First Lieutenant Marion F. Barnhill, son of Mr. And Mrs. J.H. Barnhill of Hampstead, is now a prisoner of war in Germany. His parents recently received an Air Medal, awarded their son for "exceptionally meritorious achievement, while participating in five separate bomber combat missions over enemy occuppied continental Europe.



A second son James Barnhill, Chief Pharmacist's mate, USNR, was awarded the silver star medal this month for courageous action against enemy in the pacific.
