1st. The Dore of Experience being open on Saturday one came forward

wit Sister Mary Barnhill, and on giving a Satisfactory evidence of
faith, received.

1. Appointed Elder J.L. Warren Moderator, the dore of Experience was
opened
for the Reception of persons to membership. Thos. Barnhill give in
an evidence
of faith and was Rec'd to be baptized on Sunday.

in Oct. 1848.
1st. The proceedings of the last conference was ordered to be read
and the committee appointed to talk to those members who absent themselves
from the church.
2nd. Which Brother J.R. Corbett reported Brother John Barnhill for
the
transgression of dancing, swearing and of which he not being present,
his trial was laid over.
3rd. Moved and seconded that Brother Thomas Barnhill be suspended from
church

2nd. Church met in Conference Saturday the 1st day of June, 1849.
3rd. The names of the members were called, absent members marked.
4th. The (rules of) decorum read.
5th. Conference was opened by singing and prayer by the Moderator.
6th. The minutes of the last Conference read.
7th. The case of Bro. John Barnhill was taken up the committee called
on to report. They reported that they cited him by letter. The report was
received and committee discharged and he was expelled from the Privileges
of the church for crimes previously charged.
8th. Brother Thomas Barnhill was cut off for his none attendance.

1st. The list of members called.
2nd. The minutes of preceeding [meeting was] read.
3rd. Brethren of our faith and order was invited to a seat with us.
4th. The welfare of the church inquired into.
5th. The case of Brother W.M. Flinn came before the church for his
non attendance. Brother J.R. Corbett was appointed to inform him of the
proceedings of the church and report to the next conference. A door of
experience was opened for the reception of members, none came forward.
Proceeded to appoint delegates to Bethlehem, Bro. J.R. Corbett, H.G. Barnhill
and W.H. Pridgen, Saturday before the 3rd Sunday in January.

3rd. Moved and seconded that we appoint delegates to Bethlehem the
2nd Sunday in May, Brethren J.R. Corbett and A. Dew.
4th. A door of experience was opened for the reception of members,
one came forward to viz. R.L. Corbett, and was unanimously received by
letter.
5th. Brother H.G. Barnhill applied for a letter of dismission and he
was dismissed in full fellowship from the church. Conference dismissed
in order by the Modr. W.H. Pridgen, Clk.

By an agreement of a portion of the members Thomas Barnhill was restored
to fellowship by a confession of his wrong and a desire to Serve God and
to unite with the Church, And by application of Bro. Thomas Barnhill for
a letter of dismission to unite with some other church, if it was granted
on condition that this church be notified of the same in six months which
