On the 22d ultimo, at St. Sitwell’s, Exeter, E. G. Martin, Esq. of Bideford, to Susan Brown, eldest daughter of R. J. Coster, Esq., of Witheridge, in the county of Devon.

 

On the 30th ult., at Cruwyshayes, the residence of W. G. Gardiner, Esq., Thomas J. Phillips, Esq. of Landue, in this county, to Lucy, second daughter of George Short, Esq., of Budleigh Salterton.

 

On the 24th ult., Thomas Southey, jun. Esq., of Islington, to Anne Maria, eldest daughter of William Howard, Esq. of Hartley-house, Devon.

 

On the 25th ult., at St. Peter’s Church, by the Venerable John Torrens, Archdeacon of Dublin, John Ryves D’Arcy, Esq., son of Capt. D’Arcy, of Red Lion Square, London, late of the 17th Lancers, to Maria, youngest daughter of the late Thomas Ryves of Rathsallah Castle, county of Wicklow, Esq.

On Tuesday last, at Wendron,  by the Rev. G. B. Boraston, Capt. Wm. Bishop, of the Trumpet and Ann mines, near Helston, to Miss Johns, daughter of Mr. Benjamin Johns, yeoman, of the former place. 

 

At Wendron, on Tuesday the 11th instant, Mr. W. Sleeman, spirit-merchant, of Helston, to Miss Jane Johns, of Gweek.

 

At Hayle, on the 6th instant, Capt. James Galsworthy, to Miss Elizabeth Rogers.

 

At Penzance, Mr. John Rolfe, to Miss Charlotte Blake.  Also, Mr. Nicholas Hocking to Miss Elizabeth Jones.

 

On Tuesday se’nnight, at the Superintendant Registrar’s Office at Ridgeway, by Nicholas Lockyer, Esq., Mr. Ball to Mrs. May, both of Oreston.

 

On the 5th instant, at Huxham, by the Rev. Franke Parker, Rector of Luffincott, Mr. Battishill, surgeon, of Spreyton, to Alicia, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Yolland, of Crediton.

 

On the 5th instant, at Bradpole, John Venn Prior, of the Middle Temple, Esq., Barrister-at-Law, to Bebe Catharine, eldest daughter of J. Templar, Esq., of Bridport. 

 

On the 19th of July last, at Charlotte Town, Prince Edward’s Island, James Peake, Esq., merchant, formerly of Plymouth, to Barbara Leida Alice, fourth daughter of the late Ralph Bracken, Esq.

On Sunday last, at the Office of the Superintendent Registrar of the Bodmin Union, Mr. William Richards, of Cardinham, to Miss Ann Weary, of the same parish.

 

At the Registrar’s Office, Penzance, on the 19th instant, Mr. W. Shakerly, to Miss Elizabeth Glason.

 

At Budock, on Thursday, the 13th instant, by the Venerable Archdeacon Sheepshanks, Mr Stephen Wilcocks, wool-stapler, to Miss Jane, fourth daughter of Mr. Austin, tanner, both of Penryn.

On Thursday, the 20th instant, at St. Veep, by the Rev. J. B. Kitson, John Rogers, Esq., of Screasdon, in the parish of Antony, to Eliza, third daughter of Mr. Parkyn, of Lerren, in the former parish.
