On Tuesday, the 30th ultimo, aged 73 years, of an affection of the chest, much and deservedly regretted by all who knew him, Mr. Henry Batten[?], yeoman, of Earth Barton, in the parish of St. Stephens, by Saltash.
At Southpetherwin, near Launceston, on Sunday last, Jane, wife of Mr. John Wills, and eldest daughter of the late Samuel Philp, Esq., of Pendoggett, in the parish of St. Kew.
On Tuesday, the 30th ult., at St. Thomas's Vicarage, Exeter, Thomas Fisher, second son of the Rev. J. Medley[?],aged 5 years.
At Helston, on the 26th ult., Alfred Drew, son of Mr. John M. Read, aged 7 months.
On Sunday last, Miss Paull, daughter of Mr. Charles Paull, of Trefoln, aged 7 years.
Last week, at Trevorias, in Breage, Mr. Richard Mitchell, aged 84 years.
On Monday last, at Penzance, Richard Edwards, Esq., aged 80 years.
At Penzance, on Saturday last, Mr. Lisle, aged 74 years; a superannuated excise officer.

At Truro, on Tuesday last, Rebecca, youngest daughter of Mr. James Broad, carpenter, aged 5 years.
At Liskeard, on Tuesday last, Edmund Carthew, Esq., one of the ex-aldermen of that borough, who had several times filled the office of Mayor under the old municipal system, and had discharged the functions of town-clerk for more than 40 years.
On Sunday last, at Wadebridge, the wife of Mr. Thos. Mitter, aged 60 years.
At Reawle, in Gwinear, on Monday the 6th instant, aged 32 years, Mr. David Davey, printer and bookbinder.
On Friday last, at Helston, suddenly, Aivice, eldest daughter of Mr. Richard Thomas, aged 35 years.
Suddenly, at Helston, on Monday last, Mrs. John Chenoweth, widow of the late Capt. .John Cheneweth, of the Real del Monte mines, South America, aged 40 years. [surnames were spelled differently!]
At Devonport, on Monday last, aged 25 years, Anna, wife of Mr. Charles Rowe, druggist & c., and daughter of Mr. John Julyan, of St. Austell.
At Fowey, on the 8th instant, the infant daughter of Mr. Richard Isbell, aged 11 months.
On Tuesday the 30th ult., at Saltash, Captain Edward Hawkins, R.N. (1806) aged 73 years. He was .. and meritorious officer who was much respected by his brother officers and truly lamented by his family and friends. By his gallantry in the "Dispatch" brig, he caused the "President," French frigate, to be captured.
On the 1st instant, at the palace, Herbert Marsh, D.D., Bishop of Peterborough, Margaret, Professor of Divinity and rector of Terrington St.Clemens, Norfolk, aged 82 years. He was consecrated Bishop of Landoff, 1816, and was translated to the diocese of Peterborough in 1819.
At Chelsea, on the 27th ultimo, after a short illness, Mr. James Stewart, furnishing-ironmonger, eldest son of the late Mr. Thomas Stewart, of Penzance.
On the 30th of April, in the 73rd year of his age, Mr. Bulten, of the barton of Erth, in the parish of Landrake; few men have departed this life more highly esteemed or more generally lamented; in every sense of the word, he was a "good old English farmer."

At Truro, on Thursday, the 9th instant, Mrs. Margaret Thomas, aged 68 years.
At Tregew, in the parish of Feock, the residence of her brother, Mr. Oliver, Mrs. Bice, aged 54 years.
On Monday last, at Feock, Mr. Nicholas Trebilcock, aged 24 years.
At Gulval, on Saturday last, after a protracted illness, Mrs. Keigwin, relict of the late Rev. J. J. Keigwin.
At Penzance, on the 14th inst., Robert Michell, infant son of Mr. J. T. Millett, surgeon, aged 3 months.
At Mousehole, Mr. Abraham Wright, shipwright, formerly of her Majesty's dock-yard.
At Camborne, on the 10th instant, of consumption, in his 31st year, Charles, eldest son of the late Robert Bennett, Esq., of the same place, - a young man beloved and respected by all who knew him. As a friend, he was attached and sincere; as a brother, kind and affectionate; and as a son, dutiful and submissive. - his end was peace.
At Helston, on the 10th instant, Mrs. Pascoe, wife of Mr. Wm. Pascoe, chandler, aged 62 years.
Lately, as Lisbon, of severe bilious fever, on board H. M. ship "Ganges", William Henry Garveys, second son of the Rev. Henry Grylls, of St. Neot, in this county, at the early age of 13. He was truly beloved by every one in the ship, and his remains were deposited in the English burial ground, followed by all the Officers, who intend to erect a tablet to his memory.
At East Looe, on the 13th instant, Samuel, son of Mrs. White, of the Swann Inn, aged 4 years.
At Merther, on Friday last, after a lingering illness, Mr. Joseph Richar., aged 59 years.

On Friday, the 17th instant, at the "Cottage," near Falmouth, aged 76, John Carne, Esq. This estimable gentlemen was the head of a most respectable merchantile establishment of that town, which has maintained the highest reputation for nearly a hundred years. Mr. Carne, in his early life, filled the most important municipal offices of the Borough, and after having been repeatedly elected mayor, he subsequently, for many years, as Deputy Recorder, was a most active, efficient, and impartial magistrate. � As a public man, his course was marked by a consistency of purpose, and an assiduous and unremitting interest in all the local affairs to which his attention was devoted, and which uniformly secured to him the respect and gratitude of his follow-townsmen. During his long and useful life, his social relationships were always affectionately exhibited. As a husband, father, and friend, he was kind, indulgent, and sincere; and more that all - to crown the character of a most worthy and honourable man - he was an exemplary Christian.
On the 9th instant, at his mother's residence, Grove Place, Falmouth, James Harvey Hosken, Esq., of Ellen-glaze, Cubert, one her Majesty's Justices of the Peace, and a Deputy-Lieutenant of the County.
On Wednesday morning, the 15th instant, at Calstock, at the advanced age of 97, Mrs. Thomasin Bowhay, relict of the late Mr. Richard Bowhay. She has had 21 children, and 80 grand and great grand children; she has been in active business from her childhood in Devonport, Calstock, and Callington, until within the last fifteen years; has enjoyed good health and the use of her faculties to the last, and but two years rode a single horse to Dartmoor and back, 29 miles in one day, with a party of her great grandchildren. She was universally beloved and respected by all who knew her, or had the pleasure of her acquaintance, and died perfectly resigned - giving her blessing to her children and grand children.

At St. Erme, on the 15th instant, after a severe illness, Mr. George Verco, aged 32 years.
At Penryn, on Saturday the 11th instant, Miss Nancy xxx, aged 23 years.
In London, on the 17th instant, Mr. Nathaniel Floyd, aged 44 years, son of the late Mr. Peter Floyd, of Truro.
At St. Erth Church-town, on Friday last, Mr. William Cl.ren, aged 25 years

At Penzance, on Tuesday last, Mrs. Harvey, wife of the late Mr. Wm. Harvfey, druggist of that town, aged 75.
At Newlyn, Mr. R. Carne, aged 81 years.
Suddenly, at Penzance, Mrs. Elizabeth Tonkin, widow of the late Mr. Charles Tonkin, aged 79 years.
At Camelford, on Wednesday last, Mrs. Drew, widow, aged 76 years.
At Bristol, on the 19th instant, Mr. John Rosevear, jun., late of Camelford, aged 35 years.
