On Wednesday last, at Treglissonb houre, Phillack, of paralytic seizure, Mr. Gregory Nicolls, surgeon. .. dense population of this respectable neighbourhood, the professional acquirements of this gentlemen were noticed, and his display of surgical knowledge in all cases peculiarly critical and alarming, bears ample [testi]mony to his merit, while the many excellent qualities of his mind, and his habits in society will long r. loss deplored, and his memory highly respected.
On Wednesday last, at the residence of his son, [Fal]mouth, Robert Donnall, Esq., aged 84 years.
At St. Austell, on Thursday last, Amey, wife of the [late] George Geach, aged 62.
At Devonport, on the 31st ult., aged 67 years, . Rodd, Esq., who, for a
period upwards of 25 years, held the office of clerk to the Board of
Commissioners in [this] town. In the discharge of his duties of his office, [he] evinced a thorough knowledge of his profession, and [sus]tained the highest claim to the respect of his conte[mpora]ries for his upright and conscientious conduct.v
On Sunday last, at Moretonhampstead, in his 80th year, Mr. Samuel Richards, formerly well known as a man[ufacturer] of paper in the South and West of Devon, and in `Cornwall.

At Penzance, on Sunday, the 8th instant, aged 66 years, Ann, widow of the late Mr. Ralph Tonkin, who for 41 years was a truly pious member of the Wesleyan Methodist Society, and greatly beloved and respected.
At Bodmin, on Tuesday last, the infant daughter of Mr. Belting, watchmaker.
On the 24th[?] instant at Chatham, aged 33 years, Mr. Nicholas Jenkin, of Hayle. He had been several years sergeant in the 64th regiment.
At Helston, on the 6th instant, Miss Mary Ann Stevens, formerly of Marazion, aged 29 years.
At Breage, on the 8th instant, Mary Ann, only daughter of Mr. Row, of Sladdern, in the above parish, aged 14 years.
At Pentewan, on Saturday last, Margaret, wife of Mr. Thomas Vercoe, of the Ship Inn, aged 34 years.

At Truro, on Saturday, the 7th instant, Mr. Hugh Miners, gardener, aged 83 years.
On Friday, September the 13th, at Pearce House Academy, near Penzance, the beloved wife of Mr. Barwis, after a painful and protracted illness, borne with the greatest resignation and Christian fortitude, aged 34[?] years.
On the 13th instant, in Princess-square, Plymouth, Charlotte Elizabeth,
fourth daughter of R. L. Gwatkin, Esq. Deeply impressed with the love of her Saviour, and humbly trusting to His mercy, she experienced, through a long period of suffering, that His yoke was easy, and His burthen light. She found that as the day was, so was her strength, and breathed her last, in perfect peace.
At Charlestown, on Sunday last, Mr. William Tremellen, sen., aged 94 years. He was interred at St. Austell on Tuesday, followed to the grave by three sisters and a brother, whose united ages amount to 331 years, viz. 92, 89, 83, and 67; also three generations in direct descent, a son, grandson, and great-grandson. The eldest sister is now cutting new teeth.
At Hull, on the 3rd instant, Capt. Thomas Moyse of the schooner "Emerald," of Fowey, aged 43 years.
A short time since, at Fernando Po, on board the brig "Alfred" of London, Mr. William Andrew Stephens, son of the late Augustus Stephens, Esq., collector of customs at St. Ives, aged 22 years.
At Appledore, the infant son of Henry Bee, Esq., of Gloucester. His death was occasioned through sea sickness.
At Fron, near Gogerddan, Cardiganshire, Mr. J. T. Evan, of the age of 100 years, with the exception of a few months. This aged man was a great favourite of the late J. P. Pryse, Esq., of Gogerddan. He planted the large ash trees that form so conspicuous an ornament in Llanbadarnfawy church-yard.
On the 14th instant, at Portview, Heavitree, deeply regretted, Mary Jane, youngest daughter of the Rev. J. Warren, D.D.
On Friday last, at Kenn, Mr. Thomas Elliott. This venerable and respectable man attained his 90th year about a month since, and in this, his last illness, kept to his bed but one day!! He lived in five reigns, and was present at the Visitation Court of the Archdeacon of Exeter, held in that city on the 30th of April last, when he entered on the office of Churchwarden of the parish of Kenn, for the Fifty Second time!! A circumstance probably scarcely to be paralleled in all England. He was then hale and strong, and in the habit, not infrequently, of walking from his house to Essex, a distance of between four and five miles!! And it may be said that at last, tired nature fell gently and peaceably asleep, so apparently easy was his transition from this earthly state to a better. Of his children, six are still living, and he has left twenty grand-children, and thirty-six great-grand children!
At Modbury, Devon, on the 30th ult., Mr. Richard Perring, serge-maker, aged 72.

On the 23rd instant, at Truro, Matilda, the youngest daughter of the late Edward Budd, Esq., aged 23 years.
At Redruth, on Thursday, Mrs. John Trevena, well respected.
At Wadebridge, on Monday the 23rd instant, J.. youngest daughter of Mr.
Hicks, merchant &c., xxx years.
On the 15th instant, Jane, the wife of William Be..son, Esq., of Trebrown, St. Germans, in the 80th year of her age.
On the 20th instant, at Cheltenham, where he had [gone] for the benefit of his health, Capt. Giddy, R. N. of ....tair Cottage, near Penzance, aged 59 years. "He [rests] from his labours," and it may truly be said "his .. follow him."
In the West Indies, Lieut. W. L. Rees, command. H. M. packet "Hope."
In Jersey, deeply lamented by his family, Richard Chadwick, Esq., of
Treleigh, Cornwall, for which .. he had been a Deputy Lieutenant for upwards of 20 years.
