At Truro, on Saturday last, Mr. Wm. GIDDY, formerly a respectable chemist and druggist in that town, aged 82 years.
On Wednesday last, at Truro, Mr. Wm. PEARSE, cabinet-maker, aged 20 years.
At Falmouth, on Monday last, Mrs. RYAN, widow, aged 85 years.
At Cusgarne, in the parish of Gwennap, on Saturday last, Capt. Thomas
SIMMONS, aged 73 years, greatly respected by all who knew him.
On the 23rd ultimo, at Falmouth suddenly, Mr. DOWNING, flour-dealer, aged 62 years.
On the 21st ult., at Falmouth, Mrs. T. (?) years.
At Flushing, after a long illness, Mr. (?) youngest brother of the Rev. W.J. ODGER (?).
On the 11th ultimo, at Quethiock, Mrs. (?) years. This venerable matron a few (?) unexpectedly came into the possession of (?) considerable amount, on the death of Stephen (?) Esq., of Saltash. [Perhaps she was the lady earlier referred to, who inherited a good deal of money, and immediately paid the Parish back for the aid extended her. jm]
On the 20th ult., at Sithney, in the [97th?] (?) Alice, relict of the Mr. Thomas IVEY, (?) had 11 children, 90 grand-children, 175 great-grand-children, and 13 great-great-grand-children, - in all 289 descendants. From the year 1764 she was a consistent member of the Methodist society; and she was carried to the grave by her Great-Grand-children on the 78th anniversary of her marriage.
At Helston, near Camelford, on Sunday last, Mrs. Ba(.)e, aged 82 years.
At St. Erth, on Thursday last, Elizabeth CLEMMENS, aged 14 years.
At Penzance, on Monday last, the infant son of Mr. G.H. BELLRINGER, aged three months.
On Monday se'nnight at his residence in Newport, Barnstaple, the Rev. Henry William GARDINER, A.M., aged 74 years. This amiable man and talented minister, was for more than 20 years the pastor of the Independent church in that town, and enjoyed in no common degree the affection of a numerous congregation, to whom his public ministrations and private intercourse were as pleasing as they were equitable, and many in the day of eternity will doubtless be the stars in his crown of rejoicing.
On Friday, the 18th ultimo, at Repton Prior, the Rev. John MACAULEY, many years resident in Plymouth, in charge of the New Grammar School.
On the 16th ult., in the Rue Royale, Paris, (after?) three days illness, Sir Francis SMITH, M.D. Sir Francis had been physician to Lord NORMANBY, as Viceroy of Ireland, and was well known as the author of several professional works full of talent and promise. Few deaths have excited more surprise and regret in the French capital than that of Sr. Francis Smith.

At Truro, on Friday last, Capt. John PETERS, of the schooner "Eldred," aged 42 years.
At Truro, on Monday, the 4th instant, aged 73? Years, Mary, relict of Dr. Henry LUXMOORE, physician to the forces.
At Truro, on Monday last, Catherine, the beloved wife of Mr. James LOWRY, aged 57 years - after an illness of the most painful and protracted character. Her piety was deep and unassuming, her patience throughout her affliction such as became a Christian and her end eminently peaceful and happy. She emphatically "fell asleep" in Jesus. Her faith bereft Death of a sting, and de? the Grave of its victory.
On Friday last, at Truro, Mr. Rd.? CREWS, aged 76 years.
On the 26th ult., at the Victoria Inn, in the parish of Kenwyn, Johanna, wife of Mr. Joseph HA[..] aged 22 years, after a long and severe illness. Her end was peace.
At Falmouth, on the 28th ult., Mrs. READ?, aged 85 years.
At Penzance, on Monday last, Mrs. John COLENSO, aged 54 years.
At Bowgeyheere, in the parish of Ludgvan, on Sunday last, after a few days illness, William PERKIN, Esq., aged 66 years. It is but a fortnight since we announced the death of this gentleman's wife.
On the 29th ult., at Treverris, in the parish of St. Just in Roseland, Mr. John HARRIS, aged 34 years.
At St. Austell, on Friday last, Andrianne, youngest daughter of Mr. HAWKE, of the London Inn, aged 4 years.
On the 29th ult, Mrs. Elizabeth NEWCOMBE, in Prince's court, Westminster, sister of the late William NEWCOMBE, Esq., of Trerethick, in this county, in her 85th year.
At Tavistock, on Thursday, the 28th ult, Mr. PHYSICK, aged 77, the Librarian of the Tavistock Public Library.
At Cheltenham, John STURGE, Esq., of Edgbarton, Birmingham, aged 41.
At Lizard, on the 3rd inst., Mr. F. JOSE, aged 74 years. He had been a
member of the Methodist Society for a great number of years, and his end was peace.
At Camborne, on Friday last, Miss KNIGHT, aged 71 years.
At Bowgeeer, in Ludgvan, on the x3rd instant, William PARKIN, Esq., aged 68 years. [yes, it has 3 e's; and black blop in front of the 3 - jm]

On the 8th instant, at Tregew, in the parish of Mylor, Lieut. PETER, R.N., late commander of her Majesty's packet brig "Opossum."
On the 7th instant, at Falmouth, in the widow's row, Mrs. Celia TRELEAVEN, aged 87 years.
On the 8th instant, at Falmouth, Mr. DEVONSHIRE, builder, aged 93 years.
At Bodmin, on Sunday last, Mr. Nicholas PEARCE, aged 89 years. He was the oldest man in that town.
At Crohans, in the parish of Veryan, on the 2nd inst., Mr. John DUSTOW, aged 81 years.
On Wednesday, the 30th ult., at Rice, St. Goran, Mr. William HUGOE, yeoman, at the advanced age of 86 years.
On Thursday, the 7th instant, at Portloe, Veryan, Edward PADDY, boatman of the coast-guard, aged 48 years. His remains were interred at Veryan, on Saturday, attended by the officers and crews of the adjoining stations, and three vollies were fired over his grave.

GROSE, of that place.
At Falmouth, on Monday last, the infant of Mr. RAWLINGS. It was found dead by the side of its mother, in the morning, having expired in a fit.

On the 5th instant, at Polperro, Mr. Richard PERRY, aged 25 years. Also on the 9th instant, Thomas, son of Mr. Richard BARRETT, sail-maker, aged 21 years.
At Longeo, in the aprish of St. Martins, Mr. WERRY, a respectable farmer, aged 77 years.
At Trefrcock, parish of Endellion, on Sunday last, the infant daughter of Jonathan GEORGE, Esq.
On Monday last, at Hayle, Mrs. Elizabeth PASCOE, aged 41 years.
On Tuesday last, at Hayle, after a protracted illness, Miss Susan HUTHNANCE, aged 24 years.
At Hayle, on Friday last, the infant daughter of Mr. Peter HARRIS.
At Kerthon, in Crowan, on Sunday last, at the advanced age of 90 years, Mr. William SEMMONS, a respectable farmer of that parish, leaving an equally aged partner, 6 sons and daughters, 34 grandchildren, and 49 great-grand-children, in a direct line.
At Godolphin in Breage, on the 1st instant, Peter, the son of Capt. Peter PASCOE, of the Godolphin mines, of small pox, aged 20 years.
At St. Ives, on the 9th instant, Mrs. Jane STEVENS, aged 68 years, having been for 50 years a consistent member of the Wesleyan Methodist Society.
At St. Ives, on the 5th instant, Thos. ROPEWALL, Esq., aged 86 years. Also, Mrs. VIVIAN, wife of Mr. George VIVIAN, late of Camborne, aged 75 years.
On Saturday, the 2nd instant, at St. Just in Penwith, Mr. Hugh FOSS, aged 82 years; also, on Monday, the 11th instant, Mr. George HICKS, aged 82 years.
At Devonport, on Saturday last, Mr. J. C. BYERS, aged 22 years.
At Tavistock, on Saturday last, John HELLYER, aged 90 years, the oldest man in that town.
At Plymouth, on the 7th instant, Edward JAGO, Esq., solicitor, aged 50
years.

At Truro, on Sunday last, after a severe illness of several years' duration, Clara, eldest deaughter of Mrs. HEARD, bookseller &c., aged 28 years.
On Sunday last, at the house of John MICHELL, Esq., Calenick, after a short illness, Mrs. Honor HINGESTON, aged 75 years, a lady whose life and conversation were eminently marked by those graces which most adorn the Christian character. In her a cheerful countenance and steadfast piety gave to great natural benevolence of heart its proper stamp and value. She lived as seeing Him "who is invisible." She died in the faith of that Savour who lived and died for her; and of few it can be said with more truth, that she has left to the sincerely-mourning circle of her family and friends their best consolation, in the assured conviction that she has entered into the Rest which remaineth for the people of God.
On Monday last, at St. Clement's, R.J., son of Mr. J. Brown, maltster, aged 11 years.
At Tregony, on Saturday last, Mrs. Mary PAWLEY, mother of the late Mrs.
Abraham COCK, of Truro, aged 79 years.
On the 15th instant, at Poltair, near Penzance, after a short illness, aged 30 years, Anne ROBYNS, the affectionate and beloved wife of John RICHARDS, Esq., and only daughter of the Rev. W.O. GURNEY, of Paul, in this county, feelingly regretted by a large circle of friends.
At Truro, on Monday last, Elizabeth CLIFT, at the advanced age of 107 years.
On Friday last, at Padstow, Miss Betsey CARPENTER.
At Bodmin, on Saturday last, Mrs. HARRIS, wife of Mr. HARRIS, turnkey of the Sheriff's Ward, aged 75 years.
At Liskeard, on Sunday last, Catherine GRILLS, aged 93 years.
At St. Austell, on Tuesday last, Ann, wife of Mr. Wm. WISE, aged 72 years.
At Molingey, St. Austell, on Monday last, Mr. Benj. MAY, aged 63 years.
At his residence, in Cobourg-street, Plymouth, on Thursday evening, the 14th instant, Mr. CORNISH, late of the firm of Cookworthy, Cornish, and Lewin.
On Sunday last, at Old Town, Scilly, Mrs. E. SMITH aged 71 years.
In London, on the 6th instant, Mr. James SMITH, officer of excise, aged 56 years; he was formerly stationed at Falmouth, and afterwards at Penzance.
At Lifton, suddenly, on Monday, the 12th instant, deeply regretted by her relatives and friends, Miss Jane SOWTON.
On the 10th of December, at St. Jean d'Acre, Lieut-Col. WALTER, C.B., of the Royal Marines. This gallant officer was taken ill, while in the execution of his duty in command of the Marines in Syria, and after eight days' illness, he sank under the pestilence which at times rages on those shores. His remains were interred with military honours - his pall being supported as a mark of high respect by Turkish field officers. The spot selected for his "resting place" was close to the grave which contains all that is mortal of Major OLDFIELD, who was killed during the memorable siege of Acre, by Napoleon.
At St. Sidwell's Exeter, Mr. Wm. BAGNELL, aged 102 years. He was born on Christmas-day, 1738, and retained his faculties to the last; he was never known to use spectacles, and was able to read distinctly. He has left behind him two sisters, one 92, and the other 84.
