4 JUNE 1841, Friday


On Thursday, the 27th ultimo, of apoplexy, at his seat, Tregrehan, near St. Austell, Wm. CARLYON, Esq., in his 60th year.

At Charlestown, on Friday last, Mrs. BOND, aged 58years. On Sunday last, Mr. Francis TREMELLING, aged 24 years. And on the 1st instant, Mr. R. BURNE, shoemaker, aged 28 years.

On Sunday last, at Probus, the wife of Mr. Amos WEEKES, late of the Hawkin's Arms Inn, aged 66 years.

At Penrose, in Cornelly, on Monday last, Ana, youngest daughter of Mr. ROOKE, aged 23 years.

At Gerrans, on the 19th ultimo, Mr. William STANTON, aged 33 years, much lamented.

Lately at Lezant, near Launceston, the Rev. Thomas MEYRICK, late of Holsworthy.

At Camborne, on Saturday last, Jane, daughter of Mr. PEARSE, druggist, aged 2 years and 4 months.

On Saturday, the 22nd ult., W. H. BATE, Esq., Dentist, Octagon, Plymouth, aged 19 years.

On Thursday, the 10th instant, at Truro, Mrs. Jacob [.]E, aged 40 years.

At Mawnan, on Friday last, after a long illness, [.]nty, youngest daughter of the late Mr. R. SHARE, [.]enryn, aged 17 years. Her end was peace.

At St. Austell, on Saturday last, Mr. Philip DROWN, aged 64 years.

At Newquay, on the 2nd instant, Elizabeth, the infant daughter of Mr. Wm. CLEMENS, mariner, aged 3 years and [.]nths.

At Padstow, on the 9th instant, after a protracted illness, Mrs. Mary SYMONS, aged 66 years.

Suddenly, at Launceston, on Sunday last, highly respected, Mr. Thomas CHING, one of the oldest and most [.] tradesmen, and the poor a valuable friend.

At Penzance, on Tuesday last, Mrs. BODILLY, wife of John BODDILLY, currier, aged 75 years.

On Tuesday last, at Hayle, Mrs. BURT, wife of Mr. [.]y BURT, shipwright, aged 44 years.

On Sunday last, at Hayle, Mary, daughter of Mr. RAWLINGS, aged 3 years.

At Stratton, on Monday, the 7th instant, Mr. Harry [.], aged 63 years, greatly esteemed and regretted.

At Poughill, on Tuesday last, the wife of Mr. SAUNDERS, [.] and innkeeper, aged 35 years.

On the 3rd instant, at North Yarmouth, after a few [.] illness, Captain John RICHARDS, of the schooner [.]e," of St. Ives, aged 39 years.

At North Tamerton, on Thursday the 3rd inst., Mr. [.]niel FURZE, aged 30 years.

At Ludlow, on the 20th ult., Mr. COOKE, landlord of the [.] Inn. The deceased was so horror-stricken with the [.] on the life of Mr. W. M. MACKRETH, by Josiah [.], which occurred in his home, that in a few weeks after the event he was deprived of his reason and sent to a [.] assylum. As his last hours approached, his reason [.] fully restored.

At Truro, on Friday last, Mr. Wm. GIBSON, formerly of the London Inn.

At the Falmouth, on Thursday, the 10th instant, at an advanced age, Mr. Samuel RUSSEL, for many years a respectable tailor in that town.

On Wednesday last, at Carvain, Probus, the wife of Mr. Zacharias ROBERTS, aged 65 years.

On Friday last, at her grandfather's, Mr. John PEARCE, Scorrier, Harriet Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. Wm. SIMS, of Swansea, aged 3 years.

On the 14th instant, at Leamington, near Birmingham, William MILLETT, Esq., late of Riviere-house, Hayle, formerly an officer in the East India Company's Service.

At Hayle, on Monday last, Mrs. H. OLIVER, aged 52 years.

At Crowan, on the 14th instant, Mary, the infant daughter of Mr. William WILLIAMS, aged 9 months.

On Saturday last, at Tuckingmill, Simon, third son of Mr. Wm. VIVIAN, iron founder, &c., aged 18 years.

At Helston, on the 14th instant, Mr. Stephen PENBERTHY, aged 34 years.

On Saturday last, at Penzance, Mr. BADCOCK, aged 88 years.


25 JUNE 1841, Friday


At Truro, on Monday last, Mr. David JONES, aged 87 years.

At Falmouth, on Tuesday last, after a short illness, Miss Caroline DOWNING, third daughter of Mr. W. DOWNING, aged 22 years.

At St. Columb, on Monday, the 21st instant, Mrs. S. BORROW, late of Liskeard, aged 76 years.

At Liskeard, on Monday last, Mr. John ELLIOT, grocer and druggist, a highly respectable member of the Society of Friends, aged 57 years.

At Liskeard, on Thursday, the 17th instant, aged 47 years, Mr. LUCAS, pattern-maker and ironmonger, respected in his life and deservedly lamented in his death.

At Looe Mills, in the parish of Liskeard, Mr. John PEARSE, miller, leaving a widow and a young family.
