7 MAY 1841, Friday


At Truro, on Tuesday last, Mrs. VAVASOUR, relict of Mr. Nicholas VAVASOUR, of Topsham, aged 73 years.

At Truro, on Sunday last, Richard, son of Mr. Richard PLAYER, livery stable keeper, aged 3 years.

At King Harry Passage, near Truro, on Monday last, after a few hours illness, the wife of Mr. HONEYCHURCH, innkeeper.

At Helston, on the 28th ult., Mrs. DANIELL, relict of the late Thos. DANIELL, Esq., surgeon, aged 86 years. Also, at St. Keverne, on the same day, Robert DANIELL, Esq., surgeon, eldest son of the above, aged 56 years.

At Camborne, on Tuesday last, the infant son of Mr. F. Ralph.

On Tuesday last, at Treglissen, near Hayle, after a protracted illness, Mr. Gregory NICHOLLS, aged 76 years.

At St. Ives, on the 1st instant, Mrs. BOHENNA, aged 75 years.

On Sunday last, at Newlyn West, Mary, wife of Mr. James ROBERTS, aged 24 years.

On Sunday last, of the small-pox, at Millineer, in St. Erth, the son of John TREVORROW, aged 9 years, being the fourth child in this afflicted family who has fallen victim to the same disease within the last four weeks.

At Ruthern Bridge, near Bodmin, on Wednesday last, after a short illness, Mr. Joseph VERCOE, universally respected.

At Helston, near Camelford, on Friday last, Mr. John PEARCE, aged 86 years.

On Friday, the 30th ult., at St. Thomas's Vicarage, Exeter, Christiana, the lady of the Rev. John MEDLEY after five months' illness.

At Saltash, on Saturday last, Mrs. HALY, widow of Mr. Haly, who death was inserted in this paper a few weeks since.

On the 3rd instant, Mr. RADMORE, of the Globe Inn, Plymouth.

On Sunday last, at Mount Radford Exeter, Captain CARDEW, R.E., aged 50 years.


14 MAY 1841, Friday


On the 4th instant,at Slapton, in the 71st year of her age, Mary, relict of the late Richard WARREN, Esq., surgeon, of Truro, and only surviving daughter of the late Rev. Gregory GURNEY, Rector of Tregony, and Vicar of Cuby.

At the Vicarage house, Pelynt, on Monday, the 10th inst., the Rev. H. T. DYKE, Vicar of that place, aged 38 years. Mr. Dyke's death is justly felt as a loss by the inhabitants of the district in which he resided.

On the 13th instant, at Puggist, in the parish of Camborne, Mrs. BLEWETT, at the advanced age of 86 years.

On Monday last, at St. Austell, of consumption, Miss Grace BRAY, aged 25 years.

At Probus, on Sunday last, Mr. Wm. MITCHELL, aged 71 years.

On Saturday last, at Camelford, Mrs. Ann POPE, widow of the late Mr. Matthrw POPE, aged 89 years.

On Monday last, at the house of Mr. MUDGE, Bodmin, Eleanor, daughter of Mr. PEARSE, surgeon, Launceston, aged six years


28 MAY 1841, Friday


At Truro, on Friday last, James, only son of Mr. Jas. SHOLL, butcher, aged 6 years.

On Sunday last, at Redruth, after a long illness, greatly respected, Mrs. John PENROSE, sen.

At Marazion, on the 25th instant, Elizabeth, youngest daughter of Mr. Robert MILLETT, chandler.

On Saturday last, at Trevorrian, in the parish of Sennen, Mr. J. RICHARDS, aged 53 years.

On the 18th instant, in London, Mr. Edward BECKERLEG, formerly of Penzance, aged 37 years.

On Tuesday last, at St. Austell, after a lingering illness, Mrs. PONSFORD, aged 41 years. She has left a large family of children to lament their loss.

On Friday last, at the Falcon Hotel, Bude, Mr. Thomas LEPSHAM, the late much respected landlord of that house, aged 52 years.
