On Tuesday last, at Blotha, in Kea, Mr. Peter DUNSTANT, aged 50 years, much respected by all who knew him.

At St. Mawes, on the 23 rd ult., Miss Mary Ann ODGERS, aged 22 years.

At. St. Mawes, on the 28 th ultimo, Margaret PETERS, daughter of Mr. William Peters, shipwright, aged 3 years.

On the 15 th ult., at Penwarne, near Mevagissey, Louise, third daughter of Lieut. HUGO, R.M., aged 17 years.

At Portloe, in Veryan, on the 18 th ultimo, William THOMAS, son of Mr. William TROUNCE, jun., aged 3 years.

At Portloe, in Veryan, on the 22 nd ultimo, Mr. Digory POLKINHORNE, aged 75 years.

At Newquay, on the 2 nd instant, the wife of Capt. Wm. DARKE, of the smack “ Nancy ,” aged 23 years. She was the only child of the late Capt. Henry NICHOLLS, of the above-named vessel.

Last week, at Mevagissey, Mr. William HARRIS, grocer.

On the 15 th ult., at Penwarne house, Mevagissey, Louisa Dorothea, fourth daughter of Mr. HUGOE, after a few hours illness, aged 17 years; her amiable disposition and retiring manners endeared her to a large circle of acquaintances, and her death will be severely felt by her bereaved parents and relations, and more especially by the poor of the neighbourhood.

At Polmassick, St. Ewe, on Thursday, the 28 th ult., Jacob, second son of Mr. Peter WHETTER, of Penhurden, Goran, aged 25 years.

On Thursday, the 28 th ult., Martha, the infant daghter of Lieut, W. SAMWELL, R.N., chief officer of the Coast-guard, at Goran Haven.

At Bodmin, on Monday last, Mrs. JENKINS, wife of Mr. J. Jenkins, painter, &c., aged 35 years.

At Liskeard, on Monday se’nnight, Mr. James ROBERTS, baker, aged 68 years.

At Widemouth, in Poundstock, on the 2 nd instant, Mr. James MEDLAND, yeoman, aged 77 years.

At Marhamchurch, on the 29 th ultimo, Mr. William SYMONS, innkeeper, aged 50 years.

At Tywardreath, on Sunday last, Mr. John WELLINGTON, aged 61 years.

On Sunday last, at Trevarrick, St. Austell, Caroline, infant daughter of R.G. LAKES , Esq.

At East Looe , on the 29 th ultimo, Mrs. Ann PHILP, aged 76 years.

At Bodriggy, near Hayle, on Thursday last, Miss Parminter VIVIAN, aged 25 years, only daughter of Mr. Wm. Vivian, a young lady whose amiable disposition had endeared her to all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance.

Lately, at Poundstock, Mr. PEARSE, yeoman, of Crethorne, in that parish, aged 60 years.

At Holy Vale, St. Mary’s, Scilly, on Sunday, the 31 st ult., of typhus fever, William BOASE, aged 21 years – a pious young man, deeply regretted by all who knew him.

Lately, in the Mediterranean, on board the “Britannia,” Dr. Francis POLWHELE, seventh son of the late Rev. R. Polwhele, of Polwhele, in this county, in his 41 st year. He entered the navy at the age of 14; since which period he has been employed, almost without intermission, and with distinguished credit to himself, in every quarter of the world.

At Helston, on Tuesday, the 9 th instant, Mrs. KNOWLES, aged 46 years.

On Friday, the 29 th ultimo, at Mawnan, Mr. Walter HUMPHRY, farmer, aged 85 years. His honest and upright dealings through life gained for him the respect of all classes. He was the last of a family of eight children, who all lived beyond the age of 70 years.

At Gwaffham, on Tuesday, the 2 nd instant, suddenly, Miss Jane PENROSE, formerly of Redruth, aged 37 years.

At St. Ives, Ellen, infant daughter of Mr. C. BOTTEREL.

At Camelford, on Tuesday last, of typhus fever, aged 17 years, Rebecca, daughter of Mr. John JONES, postmaster of that place.

On Wednesday last, at Lenow, in the parish of St. Kew, Mrs. WEST, widow of the late Mr. Martin WEST.

At St. Austell, on Tuesday, the 9 th instant, Miss Mary Ann DANIELL, aged 26 years.

On the 1 st instant, at Trelill, in the parish of St. Breock, Mr. John CLEAVE, sen., farmer, of that parish, aged 80 years, respected by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.

On the 23 rd ult., in Somersetshire, at West Penard , in the 73 rd year of her age, Sarah, wife of R. COTTON, Esq., and youngest and last surviving sister of the late Col. PETER, of Harlyn, in this county.

On the 27 th ult., at Clarendon , Jamaica , Patrick, youngest son of the late Patrick RYAN, Esq., of Falmouth .

At Acra, in Africa , on the 20 th of August last, Capt. John LASHBROOK, of Bude, late master of the barque “General Brock,” of London , aged about 35 years. Capt. Lashbrook was unfortunately upset in a canoe a few days before he died, by which accident he received a shock the effects of which, notwithstanding the efforts of medical skill, proved fatal. He has left a wife and one son, now about 2 years and 3 months old, to deplore his untimely end.

At Hong Kong, on the 15 th of June last, on board H.M.S. “Alligator,” of which he was second master, after an illness of five days only, Mr. John GUNDRY, of Falmouth, late of H.M. packet services at that port. His death is deeply lamented by his brother officers.

At Truro , on Wednesday last, Frances, wife of Mr. BLEE, formerly a respectable ironmonger, aged 70 years, a great number of which she had been an esteemed member of the Wesleyan society.

On the 13 th instant, at Truro , Mrs. Mary COCKE, aged 70 years.

At Falmouth , on Tuesday last, Mr. Henry GILSON, painter, aged 29 years.

At Probus, on Sunday last, Mr. Melchizedeck HOTTON, sen., late of Parkengear, in that parish, aged 75 years.

At Redruth, on Friday, the 12 th instant, Elizabeth, the beloved wife of Mr. John HONEY, conveyancer, after a protracted illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation. - Her end was peace.

At Redruth, on Wednesday, the 10 th instant, much beloved and regretted, Mr. John CARHIS, aged 40 years.

At Redruth, on Monday last, Mr. Henry ANDREW, second son of the late Mr. Nicholas Andrew, of the Hotel, aged 24 years.

On Friday last, at St. Ives, Elizabeth Faull, daughter of Mrs. CHELLEW, of the Wheat and Sheaf Inn, aged 15 years.

On Wednesday last, at Carbis, in the parish of St. Erth, Mr. John VERRANT, aged 77 years.

At Bolingey, in the parish of Perranzabuloe, on Monday last, Mr. Thomas PASCOE, late of the Bounders Arms Inn, aged 71 years; and at Penhallow, in the same parish, on Tuesday last, Mrs. Mary VEALL, aged 74 years.

On the 7 th instant, at St. Minver, after having seen upwards of 100 descendants, Mrs. Catherine OLIVER, aged 88 years.

At St. Minver, on the 12 th instant, Mr. Gideon HICKS, aged 23 years. His end was peace.

At the Parsonage, Chacewater, on Friday last, Margaret, wife of the Rev. David JACKSON, aged 31 years.

On Tuesday last, at Mongleath, near Falmouth , Elizabeth , daughter of the late Mr. George ROLLS, master R.N., aged four years.

At Trevannance Coombe, St. Agnes, on Sunday last, Mr. William STEPHENS, aged 75 years.

At Illogan, on Thursday, the 18 th instant, Elizabeth, the beloved wife of Mr. Nicholas GRIBBLE, aged 32 years, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with fortitude and resignation. Her end was peace.

On the 14 th instant, at Belmont Cottage, in the parish of St. Gluvias, in his 32 nd year, Josiah Lane COLLIS, Esq., of London .

On the 16 th instant, William, son of Mr. Josiah PAULL, of Roskear, in Camborne, aged four years and two months.

At Perhspen(?), Goran, Mr. James PEARCE, farmer, aged 73 years. We announced Mr. Pearce’s marriage a short time ago.

On Thursday, the 18 th instant, at Liskeard, Mr. Thos. PEAKE, aged 47 years. Also, Mrs. Rebecca THOMAS, aged 81 years.

At Liskeard, on Friday last, Hannah, eldest daughter of Edward GEACH, Esq., conveyancer, aged 22 years.

At Launceston, on Saturday last, Grace, the wife of Mr. Samuel TRELEAVEN, hat-maker, leaving six young children.

On the 8 th instant, at Brockhurst, Hants, after a week of great suffering, Jesse Maria, third daughter of Lieut. D. WELCH, R.N., late Commander of H.M. packet “Swift,” Falmouth station.

On Thursday, the 18 th instant, at Liverpool , Mr. Everton SMITH, the founder, editor, and principal proprietor of the Liverpool mercury. Mr. Smith had been unwell for many months, but neither he nor his friends anticipated a fatal termination to his illness, until within the last day or two.

In London , on Friday last, Mr. F.H.J. MILLETT, eldest son of the late Lieut. Millett, R.M., aged 25 years.
