On the 19 th ultimo, in the 70 th year of her age, Sarah, the beloved wife of Mr. J. P. COOK, schoolmaster, of Torpoint.
On the 19 th ult., after an illness of less than an hour, on board H. M. ship “Rodney,” of which he was chaplain, regretted by every individual in the ship, to whom he had endeared himself by his many amiable qualities, the Rev. R. J. OLIVER, late curate of Perranzabuloe, in this county, aged 26 years. His remains were buried at sunset of the same day in the garden of an ancient mosque, in the village of Sarfend, near Sidon.
At Smyrna, on the 30 th of July last, Capt. Thomas HERNAMAN, of the schooner “Challenger,” of London, aged 33 years.
On the 24 th ult. at Tavistock, while on a visit at the house of the Rev. W. BEAL, the Rev. J. BUNTING, aged 46 years.

At Swansea, Mr. Morgan WILLIAM, aged 104 years and seven months. He was a native of Llanon, Carmarthenshire, but had resided at Swansea (where the copper smoke is said to be destructive of animal life) for the last 77 years! In his 99 th year, he walked to Llanelly (12 miles) in three hours.
At Truro, on Saturday last, Anne Maria, only daughter of Mr. John VINTON, gardener, aged 18 years.
On the 4 th instant, at Falmouth, suddenly, Mrs. HARVEY, aged 72 years; and on the 12 th instant, at Falmouth, Mr. N. BAWDEN, aged 35 years.
At Helston, on the 9 th instant, Richard, only son of Mr. Richard CHIPMAN, carpenter, aged 9 years.
On Sunday last, at Camborne, Jane, widow of the late Mr. Jonathan TYACK, joiner &c., aged 62 years. Also, on Monday, the infant son of A. PRIDEAUX, Esq., surgeon, formerly of Camborne, but now of Plympton, Devon.
At Rosevanion, St. Columb Major, on the 13 th instant, Mrs. HICKS, aged 79 years.
At Padstow, on the 6 th instant, aged 83 years, Mrs.M. BISHOP, widow of the late Capt. BISHOP, R.N.
On the 7 th instant, at Treator, near Padstow, John, son of John PEARSE, Esq., aged 18 years.
At Charlestown, on Monday last, Mrs. HOUGHTON, wife of Mr. Wm.HOUGHTON, harbour master of that port, aged 51 years.
At St. Austell, on Saturday, the 11 th instant, after a lingering illness, Miss Elfredia BROWNE, aged 23 years, eldest daughter of Mr. Browne, conveyancer &c. She was a young woman of amiable disposition, and bore her affliction with patience and resignation. Her loss will be greatly felt by her family, and more especially by the poor of the immediate neighbourhood.
At Higher Trenance, St. Austell, Mrs.GLASSON, aged 25 years, whose husband’s death was announced last week. She has left two orphan children to lament their loss.
At Hurryhur, on the 31 st of May, George POLWHELE, son of Lieutenant and Brevet Captain WILSON, 32 nd regiment, native infantry, aged one year and nine months.
At Torpoint, on the 4 th instant, Mr. Wm. MAYNE, aged 70 years. The deceased was coachman of the Plymouth mail for more than twenty years, during which time he was generally respected.
At Jamaica, of yellow fever, on the 20 th of June last, Charles DANIELL, assistant-surgeon of H.M.S. “Apollo” and youngest son of Francis DANIELL, Esq., surgeon, Liskeard, deeply lamented by his afflicted family and numerous circle of acquaintances.

At Dartmouth, on the 13 th inst., Arthur STAPLETON, Esq., Manager of the Devon and Cornwall Bank at that place, aged 38 years. The deceased was deservedly beloved and respected by all who knew him.
At his residence, Budge, Sand-street, Bideford, Colonel ENGLISH, many years of the Royal Marines, at Plymouth, aged 60. Col. English was highly respected and esteemed by a large and most respectable circle of relatives and friends in Bideford.
At Stoke, Staffordshire, on Monday last, Samuel, son of the late Mr. John THOMAS, of St. Stephens, and brother of Mr. T. THOMAS, of the Cornish Mount Inn, Probus, aged 33 years.
On Sunday, the 12 th instant, at Tottenham, Mrs. MIDDLECOAT, relict of the late William Middlecoat, Esq., of the Audit Office, Somerset-house.
