On Friday last, at Rosewin, Truro, Mary Ann, the beloved wife of Mr. H. H. DAVIS, aged 32 years.

At Truro, on Monday last, after a short illness, Miss SAMPSON, aged 45 years. Her end was peace.

On Wednesday last, in Pydar-street, Truro, the wife of Mr. G. WILLS, currier, aged 52 years.

At Truro, on Friday last, Catharine Trezahar, daughter of Mr. I. JEFFREE, iron founder, aged 5 years.

At Perran Wharf, yesterday, Mrs. BOYLE, relict of the late Mr. John Boyle, aged 72 years.

On the 20th ult., at Falmouth, Mrs. Dorothy WILLIAMS, relict of the late Mr. Philip WILLIAMS, of Helston, aged 63 years.

On Tuesday last, at the Navy Inn, Falmouth, Capt PATERSON, of the brig 2Ocean," bound to Malaga.

Last week, at Falmouth, the infant son of Mr. TREWEEK, late of St. Teath, aged 11 months.

At St. Columb, Nicholas Carbis Trevossa, eldest son of Mr. John BEST, spirit merchant.

Lately, at Higher Porth, in the parish of St. Columb Minor, the wife of Mr. James NICHOLLS, aged 76 years.

At Bodmin, on the 24th ult., Mrs. BOOR, aged 51[?] years, relict of the late Rev. L. J. Boor, chaplain of the Bodmin gaol, and master of the grammar school.

At St. Austell, on the 23rd ult., the infant daughter of Mr. PETHERICK; on the 24th, at Bojea, Dinah, daughter of Mr. PEDLER, aged 4 years, being the fourth and last child, all of whom died in the short space of one week; on the same day, Jane, the only child of Mr. MITCHELL, silversmith, &c., aged 3 years; At Mount Charles, on the 26th, John, infant son of Mr. INCH, of the Mount Charles Inn; also, James, the son of Mr. Thomas FLOYD, aged 2 years; at the Watering, on the 29th, Mrs. CORNELIUS, aged 28 years; on the 30th, her brother, Mr. Thomas WARREN, aged 33 years; and on the same day, Mrs. Elizabeth GUY, aged 66 years.

On Wednesday last, at Heligan, deeply regretted, Mrs. Mary MARTIN, aged 65 years, for 28 of which she was the faithful and affectionate nurse of the family of J. H. TREMAYNE, Esq.

At Fowey, the infant daughter of Mr. R. MINARDS, of the "Good Intent," of that port; and the infant daughter of Mr. COCK.

At Holsmorthy, last week, Ann, daughter of Mr. Henry BADCOCK, wharfinger to the Bude Canal Company. [?Holsworthy]

At St. Ives, on the 28th ult., Elizabeth, third daughter of the late Lieut. Eldred ROBERTS, R.N., aged 11[?] years; on the 29th, Eleanor, second daughter of Samuel HOCKING, Esq., surgeon, aged 3 years; and on the 30th, Sarah, daughter of Capt. John PAYNTER, aged 3 years.

Last week, at St. Erth Church-town, Mrs. Johanna HAMMILL, at the advanced age of 81 years, much respected by all who knew her.

On the 24th ult., at Kirten wood, in the parish of St. Erth, Mrs. Mary TIPPET aged 26 years.

On the 24th ult., at Tregurlan Mill, in the parish of St. Erth, Capt. Wm. LEAN, aged 57 years.

On Saturday last, at Trenedrass, in the parish of St. Erth, in consequence of the injuries occasioned by her clothes catching fire about three weeks ago, the daughter of Mr. Wm. NICHOLAS, aged three years.

On Saturday last, at Trewinnard, in the parish of St. Erth, Frances, the beloved wife of Mr. John GOLDSWORTHY, aged 61 years. She was eminently a woman of a meek and quiet spirit, and during the last twenty eight years of her life was a steady and consistent member of the Wesleyan Methodist society. She died as she lived, in peace with God and man, and is deeply and deservedly lamented by a numerous circle of friends.

On Monday last, at Porthcullumb, in the parish of St. Erth, Miss Martha WILLIAMS, aged 20 years.

On Monday last, at Treloweth, in the parish of St. Erth, from a hurt he received about three weeks ago, at Wheal Mary, in Lelant, Mr. Benjamin TIPPETT, aged 37 years, very highly respected by all who knew him.

On Monday last, at Chenails, in the parish of St. Erth, the infant daughter of Mr. Thomas CHARLES.

On Wednesday last, at Penzance, Mrs. Mary READ, relict of the late Thos. Read, Esq., aged 77 years.

On Wednesday, the 23rd ult., at St. Agnes, Scilly, Mr. Samuel FAIRCHILD, light-keeper, aged 59 years.

On the 17th ult., at Cheltenham, aged 78, William Penn GASKELL, Esq., lineally descended, through his mother, from William PENN, the founder and original proprietor of Pennsylvania, and Sir William SPRIGETT, who was killed at the time of the civil wards, at the siege of Banbury.

On Sunday last, in Old Market-street, Bristol, after a long and painful illness, borne with truly Christian resignation, Caroline, the beloved wife of Mr. T. GEACH, late of St. Austell, leaving a large family and a sorrowing husband to lament an irreparable loss.

9 DECEMBER 1842, Friday

On Friday last, at Trehaverne, the residence of his father the Rev. T. P. GURNEY, aged 49 years, Thomas Peter Gurney, Esq., surgeon, of Marazion, and mayor of that town, which office he had filled for many years past. His decease will be much regretted by his friends and neighbours, and more especially by the poor, among whom his attentions, as a medical man, are duly appreciated. He died in peace, not trusting in his own righteousness, but placing his whole confidence in the merits and mediation of his Divine Saviour.

In Lemon-street, Truro, on Wednesday lst, Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr. DURRINGTON[?], aged 16 years.

At Treviskey, in the parish of Gwennap, on Friday, the 25th ult., John Britton NICHOLAS, third son of the late T. Nicholas, Esq., surgeon, aged 18 years; and on the following day, Emma MOYLE, a sister of the deceased, aged 19 years.

At Helston, on Wednesday last, the infant daughter of Mr. James CLARKE.

At Helston, Anne T. DOBB, daughter of Mr. John Dobb, aged 38 years. Her end was peace.

At Porthcullumb, St. Erth, on Monday last, Mrs. Catherine WILLIAMS, aged 39 years.

On Wednesday last, at Camborne, suddenly, the wife of Mr. Thomas HOLELLE, gardener.

At Pool, in Illogan, on Tuesday, the 29th, ultimo, Mr. John WILLOUGHBY, carpenter, aged 63 years.

At Illogan church town, on Thursday, the 1st instant, Mr. Henry WILLOUGHBY, son of Mr. Wm. Willoughby, aged 21 years.

On Saturday last, at Penzance, Mrs. Wm. CORIN, aged 36 years.

At St. Austell, on Monday last, Mary, wife of Mr. John LEE, aged 61 years.

On the 30th ult., at Fowey, the son of Mr. Richard MINARDS, in the third year of his age, being the second child deceased within a few days; and, on the same day, the infant son of Mr. G. VARCOE.

At Polruan, on Tuesday last, Capt. TIPPETT, aged 79 years.

At Padstow, on Friday last, Mary, youngest daughter of J. TREDWEN, Esq., aged 22 years; and, on the same day, two infant children of Mr. Henry RAILY.

At St. Mellion, on the 29th ult., Elizabeth DUNSTAN, fourth daughter of Mr. John Dunstan, veterinary surgeon, aged 24 years.

On Monday last, at St. Teath, the daughter of a labourer, named COUCH, in consequence of the injuries occasioned by her clothes taking fire, a fortnight ago, aged 7 years.

At Liskeard, last week, the wife of Mr. HAWKEN, fellmonger.

Suddenly, at the Globe Hotel, Exeter, on Saturday last, James HILTON, Esq., of Gascoyne-place, Plymouth, aged 60 years.

On the 28th ult., at Feniton Court, Devon, Frances Duke, wife of the Hon. Mr. Justice PATTESON, and only daughter of the late James COLERIDGE, Esq., of Heath's Court, Ottery St. Mary.

On Saturday last, at her house in Portland-place, the Countess of Munster, having survived her husband not quite nine months.

On Sunday, the 11th instant, after a short but severe illness, aged 9 years, Caroline, youngest daughter of J. H. TREMAYNE, Esq., of Heligan.

At Place House, Fowey, on Friday last, at a very advanced age, Mrs. AUSTEN, mother of J.T. TREFFRY, Esq. As soon as it was known that Mrs. Austen was dead, the minute bell of Fowey church was tolled, and the shops in the town were partially closed as a mark of respect for the deceased.

On the 10th instant, at Cobham, Surrey, Caroline TREBY, Lady MOLESWORTH, the widow of Sir William Molesworth, Bart., of Pencarrow, aged 82 years.

At St. Ives, on the 13th instant, Georgiana, youngest daughter of the late lieut. Eldred ROBERTS, R.N., aged 9 years, being the second daughter that has died within the last fortnight.

On Friday last, at Higher Town, near Truro, Mr. Francis CARNE, blacksmith, aged 24 years.

On the 5th instant, at Mylor Bridge, after a protracted illness, Hannah, wife of Mr. Thomas MITCHELL, one of the relieving officers of the Falmouth Union.

At Redruth, on Sunday last, Mr. Thomas SCOBLE, aged 64 years, many years ostler at the hotel in that town.

On Saturday last, at Portreath, Jane, relict of the late Mr. John IVEY, of Carvannal, in the parish of Illogan, aged 74 years; and on the same day, Harriett Jane, infant daughter of Mr. R. IVEY, of Redruth, and grand-daughter of the above.

At Penzance, on Sunday last, Miss Ann FRANCIS, aged 22 years.

On Friday last, at Halwyn, in the parish of Paul, Mr. J. GLASSON, aged 74 years.

At Treworthal, in the parish of Philleigh, on the 3rd instant, the wife of Mr. Wm. LONG, aged 62 years.

At Gerrans, on the 6th instant, Mrs. HICKS, wife of Mr. Charles Hicks, of the Coast Guard, aged 64 years.

At Veryan, on the 7th instant, Mr. Nicholas DAVIS, mason, aged 26 years.

At Veryan, on Monday last, the wife of Mr. John BOLITHO, blacksmith, aged 26 years.

At Caragloose, in Veryan, on Wednesday last, Mr. Benjamin BLAMEY, aged 65 years.

On the 7th instant, at Goran, whilst on a visit at his son-in-law's, Mr. John WYATT, late landlord of the Ring of Bells Inn, Storey Bridge, Lanteglos by Fowey, aged 83 years.

At St. Austell, on Saturday last, Fanny, daughter of Mr. Wm. ISAAC, mason, in the third year of her age.

At St. Austell, on Sunday last, Jane, the beloved wife of Mr. OSBORNE, Baptist minister, aged 22 years.

On the 8th instant, at Polruan[?], Mr. PRIOR, for many years master of a vessel in the coasting trade, aged 80 years.
At Wadebridge, on Friday last, Mr. Samuel WEST, spirit merchant, aged 41 years.

At Treclego, near Camelford, on Saturday last, Mr. William BURT, aged 65 years.

On the 8th instant, at Vacy Barton, in the parish of North Tamerton, Mr. Jno. JOHNS, aged 40 years.

At Bideford, Mrs. BINNEY, mother of Mr. Binney, of the Commercial Inn, aged 93 years.

On the 4th instant, in London, Mrs. HARTLEY, the beloved wife of Mr. Thomas HARTLEY, late of Roscrow, in this county.

On the 10th inst., at his seat, Hardwick Grange, Shropshire, General the Right Hon. Viscount Hill, G.C.B., G.C.H., &c., Colonel of the Royal Regiment of Horse Guards Blue, Governor of Plymouth, and late General Commanding-in-Chief of the British Army, aged 71 years.

On the 13th of October, at Cawnpore, in his 39th year, William Richard KENNAWAY, Esq., Judge of the Civil Court of Futtypoor, fourth son of the late Sir John Kennaway, Bart.

At Chusan, China, on the 26th of July, Mr. George Hearder COLE, Master of H.M.S. "Sapphire." The said intelligence has cast a gloom over many respectable families in Ashburton, with whom Mr. Cole associated, previous to his leaving his native land. He has left a widow to lament the loss of a kind and affectionate husband.

On Tuesday, at Falmouth, the youngest son of the late Lieut. FORRESTER, aged six years.

On the 19th instant, at Rialton, in the parish of Lower St. Columb, Ann, wife of Mr. James GRIGG.

At St. Austell, on Sunday last, John HENRY, son of Mr. P. WILLIAMS, butcher, aged 16 months; and on the 19th, Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. CORNELIUS, at the Watering, aged 2 years; and Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. Wm. CRAPP, carpenter, aged 10 years.

On Sunday last, at Fowey, the son of Mr. John DUNGEY, master of the schooner "John CARNALL," aged 3 years.

At Padstow, on Thursday, the 15th instant, Mr. Richard WILLIAMS, aged 45 years.

At Padstow, on Monday last, after several years illness, Capt. H. P. THOMAS, late master of the brig "Ide," of London, aged 47 years.

On the 17th instant, at Helston, Mrs. Eliz. RICHARDS, aged 25 years.

At Helston, on the 18th instant, Mr. Thomas GLUYAS, tailor, &c., aged 54 years.

At St. Ives, on Friday last, the daughter of Mr. F. RICHARDS, aged 7 years; and, on Monday, Mr. DANIEL, ship builder, aged 60 years.

At Sealy's Hotel, Marazion, Mr. COLLINS, of Bodmin, officer of excise, aged 27 years.

At Marazion, Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr. Stephen HOLLOW, aged 14 years.

At Penzance, on Friday last, Mrs. BASSETT, aged 61 years.

In London, on the 16th instant, Mr. Walter SPRY, officer of the excise, eldest son of Mrs. Spry, innkeeper, Bodmin.

On the 6th instant, at the Views, Huntingdonshire, Vice-Admiral Sir Richard Hussey HUSSEY, K.C.B., G.C.M.G.

On Friday, the 9th instant, at Tavistock, John HORNBROOK, Esq., surgeon, uncle to Thomas GILL, Esq., M.P. for Plymouth.

At Plympton, in the 90th year of her age, Catherine, relict of the late Rev. Duke YONGE, of Cornwood.

On the 10th instant, at Ashburton, aged 7 years, William Henry, son of the Rev. T. WEBB, Wesleyan Minister, of that town.

On Wednesday, the 14th instant, at No. 8, Albemarle, Villas, Stoke, Anne, the beloved wife of Richard DUNNING, Esq., mother of the esteemed minister of Torpoint Chapel, and sister of Capt. Thomas WHITE, R.N., of Buckfast Abbey. The loss of this amiable lady will be long felt by her afflicted family, and the poor of the vicinity, to whom she ever proved a kind benefactress.

On Friday last, after a severe illness, aged 34 years, Mr. Edward WEBB, of the Royal Hotel Torquay.

In Pydar-street, Truro, on Wednesday last, Mr. John ROWE, one of the oldest and most respectable shoemakers in that town, aged 80 years.

At Tresillian-bridge, on Sunday last, Hester, fourth daughter of Mr. J. MITCHELL, of the Wheel Inn.

At Fowey, on the 22nd instant, Mrs. Elizabeth BROAD, an inmate of the (RASHLEIGH gift) widows' house, aged 74 years.

At Ladock, on Sunday last, Eliza, daughter of Mr. COCK, blacksmith, aged 9 months.

At St. Ives, on the 26th instant, Mr. James PEARCE, aged 17 years; and on the 27th, the son of Mr. John MAGOR, aged 3 years.

On Friday last, at St. Ives, Mr. John ROWE, aged 70 years.

Lately, at Madron, Mr. P. GALLOWAY, aged 53 years.

On Sunday last, at Penzance, Mrs. HEMMINGS, of the Three Tuns hotel, aged 52 years. This amiable lady was well known and universally respected by many hundreds of individuals, having carried on a most respectable business for nearly thirty years.

On the 20th instant, at St. Mary's Scilly, Mr. Thomas HICKS, late commander of the schooner "Vesper," of Scilly, aged 34 years, and Mr. John SHERRIS, joiner, aged 81 years.

At Tregonissey, St. Austell, on Saturday, the 24th instant, after a lingering illness of four years, Mr. F. VIGURS COULSON, formerly of Penzance, aged 30 years; and, on the same day, Mrs. Elizabeth PHILLIPS, aged 65 years.

Lately, at Liskeard, Valinda, daughter of Mr. W. A. OATEY, of Wadebridge, AGED 2 1/2 YEARS.

Lately, David SUTTON, Esq., late of Dover, aged 67, for many years Captain of one of the East India Company's ships, surviving his brother Robert, who died at Flushing, in the 62nd years, only a month.

On the 17th instant, at St. Cleer, Mr. TAYLOR, in the 90th year of his age. The deceased was the oldest farmer in the parish, and throughout his long life was highly respected.
