At his residence Grose Hill, near Falmouth on Monday last, George Croker FOX, Esq. After some weeks of severe indisposition, he was seized with haemorrhage form the lungs, which suddenly terminated his life in the 66th year of his age. He was a man of highly cultivated mind. By nature he was refined, and his intellect was enriched by the study of the classics, thus presenting in an unusual degree a combination of the scholar and the gentleman. Liberal as a landlord, zealous as a magistrate, and kind towards the poor, but was still most beloved and best appreciated by those who most intimately knew him. His tenderness of conscience, humility and Christian faith were strikingly manifested during the last few weeks of his life. In the year 1810 he married Lucy, the daughter of Robert BARCLAY, Esq., of Bury Hill, Surrey, who survives to mourn his loss.

At her residence in the High Cross, Truro, on Friday last, in the 80th year of her age, Mary Anne, daughter of the late James KEMPE, Esq., and sister of the late Lady Devonshire.

At Truro, on Saturday last, Charles H. Griffiths, Esq., late her Britannic Majesty's Consul at Buenos Ayres, aged 60 years.

At Truro, on Saturday last, deeply lamented by his family and a large circle of friends, Mr Scott, aged 71 years.

At Great Polgooth, on Friday last, Capt. Thomas PHILLIPS, aged 78 years.

At Padstow, last week, after a lingering illness, the wife of Mr. W. SOWDEN, carrier, aged 55 years; and Mr William KNIGHT, aged 34 years.

At Tregonna, in the parish of Little Petherick, Mr Richard WILLIAMS, aged 77 years.

At Wadebridge, on the 17th ult., Bessy, third daughter of Mr J.R. RICKARD, druggist, aged 3 years.

At Windsor Terrace, St Sidwells, Exeter, on the 23rd ult., Mr William Newton GOODRIDGE, many years a clerk in the Savings Bank in that city, aged 36 years.

Drowned on the 28th ult, whilst bathing at Bournemonth, William RICHARDS, son of the late Rev. Leonard J. BOOR, of Bodmin.

At Philadelphia, United States of America, on the 4th of June last, Mr Samuel AUNEAR, carpenter, late of St Austell, aged 69 years.
