At Treworlas, in the parish of Philleigh on Sunday last, suddenly, Mr. Richard MARTYN, aged 60 years, for thirty-five of which he was a local preacher and office bearer in the Wesleyan Methodist Society. He had just returned from Trewartha, where he had preached in the evening, and spoke to Mrs Martyn of the happiness he had felt in the engagement. It is far within the compass of unmingled truth to describe him as a man of as great probity, benevolence, and unostentatious piety, as can usually be found within the range of social intercourse; with a mind replete with spiritual influences, of manners bland, and softened by a heart that breathed love to all his fellow men, he has descended to his grave with the regret and affection of the whole community in which he lived. By the society, of which he was a member, and an ornament, his memory will long be cherished. At St. Austell, on Friday last, Mr. James RADFORD, aged 81 years.
