At St Leonard's Bridgnorth, by the Rev. George BELLETT, W.C. FOULKES, Esq., of St Michael Penkivel, in this county, to Jane, third surviving daughter of the last Thomas STRINGER, Esq., of Astbury Hall, Shropshire.

We have been requested to contradict the notice of an alleged marriage between Mr Thomas RANDALL of Brogan, to Mrs Mary EXEBY, which appeared in our paper of the 1st instant, no such marriage having taken place. The notice which was sent us professed to be authenticated by the signature of J. LORY, but this, on investigation, turns out to be a forgery, Mr LORY being perfectly innocent of this stupid and impudent attempt to give pain to respectable persons. The manuscript sent us has been handed over to Mr RANDALL, who is determined to use every effort to discover and punish the author of the hoax.
