At Penryn, on Sunday last, extensively respected and greatly lamented, the Rev. Richard COPE, LL.D., aged 80 years, upwards of twenty years pastor of the Congregational church in that town, in whom were happily united the gentleman and the Christian. He was the advocate of every benevolent and philanthropic institution, and the faithful and indefatigable minister of the people of his charge, as well at Penryn as at scenes of previous labors at Launceston in this county, Wakefield in Yorkshire, and at Dublin.
