Much research data, particularly relating to the scalemaking trade and scalemaker descendants of the family in England, Australia and New Zealand has been provided by Philip Wedderburn, of :

W.W. Wedderburn Pty Ltd

W.W. Wedderburn Pty Ltd

The site administrator acknowledges a great debt of gratitude to 'Margaret', who, following many years of research on the Wedderburns, has provided all of her findings for publication in these pages.

Without Margaret's contributions, and her continued support and advice, this site would contain a fraction of the information it currently contains. Most of the data she has provided has yet to be added, and this will take many months, if not years.
