COMMENTS: This person born 8 Jun 1846 in Eielst�dt, Essen parish, son of
Jobst Heinrich WESTERFELD and Anne Marie Elsabein Wessel. Married in
Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio 17 Sep 1868 to M.E. Staas. (Info for birth from Beate Hauer, for marriage from LDS web site).

Emigrant: Gerhard Heinrich Westerfeld (#2)
COMMENT: Naturalization data, Cuyahoga County, Ohio USA: 24 [or 30] Mar. 1879.
Appears to have lived in Cleveland Ohio also (see Ger.Hnr. W'feld #1, above).
His signed document states that he arrived in USA February 16, 1867. We have determined (from Germans to America vol.19 p.38) that his arrival was through Baltimore, Maryland USA on the ship Adolphine, and his date of birth c. 1844.
This G.H. Westerfeld then traveled to Cleveland, Ohio USA and was
naturalized in Cleveland Ohio USA.

The above document came as result of my investigating a different
"Heinrich WESTERFELD, age 19 yrs" (b.~1846 Ger.) who arrived via New York USA on 23 Sept 1865. He was traveling in company with Gerh. Hnr. M�LLENBROCK and a STOLTE family from H�sede, Germany to Cleveland Ohio USA. He may or may not be related to the above person.

My G. H. Moellenbrock's father is Jobst Heinrich WESTERFELD, who married
Gertrud Moellenbrock in H�sede, 1818. This Jobst Hnr. WESTERFELD (b. 18 Feb 1794 - d. 1873 Ger.) came from Rabber in Barkhausen parish by Bad Essen. He did not emigrate, but we suspect that Westerfelds #1 and/ or #2 are related to our Moellenbrocks through him. I am attempting to trace lineage for "my" Jobst H.W., for whom I know only parents names: Johann Friedrich Westerfeld and K.M. Somers ( no place or dates known).
