GREETINGS

This website was started on July 23, 2000, although the gathering of the information has been going on for years!!! The main purpose is to share the research of myself and my family members with each other and other people!!!   I will be adding more links and features periodically, so be sure to stop by often.  If any links are no longer valid, or if you have suggestions that would improve this website, please leave a message in the Suggestion Box.

In April of 1999, the Mormon Church (also known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints, or LDS) opened their test site on the Internet. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit any of the LDS Family History Libraries, then this is your chance to delve into their vast archives.  I imagine this website is going to be very popular over the next few years, as more Internet resources are added to it!

HELPFUL HINTS

The rules for programming web pages are constantly changing. If you have the most recent version of your Internet browser, you can be assured that special formatting techniques will be properly displayed on your computer. This page was designed using MS FrontPage 2000, so I highly recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer...it's free! To determine the version of your browser, click on the [Help - About] menu option at the top of your browser screen.

Most web browsers check for changes in web pages every time you start them, to ensure that the most recent version of the web page is being viewed. If you're using Internet Explorer as your web browser, verify that the following option is set. Click on [View - Internet Options - Temporary Internet File Settings - Check for new versions of stored pages = Every time you start Internet Explorer]. If you're using another web browser, search for a similar option and verify it is set accordingly. This will ensure that you are viewing the most recent web pages rather than old "cached" web pages stored on your hard disk. Another way to view the most current web page is to click on [View - Refresh] for each web page, but this is rather tedious.
