Obituary

John Byce Windrow, 77, of Patterson, Tenn.,
near College Grove died Wednesday afternoon
at 6 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Hill.

Mr. Windrow, a retired farmer, was a native of Rutherford
County, son of John and Lizzie Watson Windrow. He was a
member of the (Jackson Ridge) Cumberland Presbyterian
Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m.
at the Jackson Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church,
near College Grove, conducted by Rev. J. C. Bradford.
Burial will be in the Manier family cemetery.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Hill of Patterson;
Mrs. T. C. Smith of Nolensville; 5 sons, John L. Windrow
of Nashville; Willie Gray Windrow of Rockvale; Odie Lee
Windrow of Nolensville; James W. Windrow of Rockvale;
Jesse M. Windrow of Unionville; one sister, Mrs. Eddie Dyer of
Murfreesboro; one brother, Richard M. Windrow of Rockvale;
21 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers, and sons will
serve as active pallbearers.
