I have seen no evidence that he was a knight. At the same page it is stated that Robert’s wife Margaret Griffith married “(2nd) ---Lee” I believe Margaret married (1) John Tyrwhitt, (2) Robert Willoughby (3) Peter Leigh, of Nottingham.
