Remark : He was never Dean of Chester. It was rather his father, the Very Rev. Thomas Mallory, D.D., that was Dean of Chester from 1607 until his death in 1644.

.ii Capt Roger Mallory had five sons and two daughters, Jane (wife of John Quarles) and Elizabeth.

Remark : Elizabeth was the wife of Martin Palmer of New Kent (later King William) County, Virginia. They had five sons and two daughters. (National Genealogical Society Quarterly 61 (June 1973):127).
