6 Nov 1793.    Alexander Carson of Bennington, Bennington Co, Vermont TO Daniel Woolsey of Ulster Co, NY for the sum of rent or sum of money hereinafter mentioned to be paid to the said Alexander Carson (or James Debrose of the City of New York) etc and also in consideration of the sum of Ten Shillings etc all that farm known as lot 13 situate in Ulster Co, in a tract of land commonly known as Hardenburgh Pattent lying on the E bank of the Fishkill (or Delaware River) & said lot 13 containing 150 acres of land as may be seen by the maps of former surveys beginning at the aforesaid river and running S 46 chains E 20 chains N 38 chains etc. from the 19 Jul last the yearly rent of 7 pounds 10 shillings in lawful money of State of New York in Spanish milled Dollars or the value etc and to be paid the 19 Jul next (likewise two years back rent or the sum of 15 pounds which is now due etc if it should so happen that the rent be unpaid for the span of three months next it will be lawful to enter the premises & retain good & chattle of the said Daniel Woolsey etc  Wit:  William Gurny  Rev?, John W.
