Isaac Woolsey posted $300 bond as Executor of estate        Abraham Woolsey has left: Mary Woolsey of Amenia, his mother & John Woolsey of same place, Sampson Woolsey of Saratoga, William Woolsey of Herkimer, Joseph Woolsey of state of Ohio, Dorcas Morey of Amenia, widow of Benjamin Morey, deceased, Catharine Woolsey of same place, Isaac Woolsey, your petitioner, of Sharon, CT, his brothers and sisters
And Granville Woolsey of Washington, Louisa wife of Hiram Spearrs of Monroe County, Mira Woolsey of Washington, William A.? Woolsey, Teletta Woolsey and Richard Woolsey of said Monroe Co, his nephews and nieces being the children of Richard Woolsey, the deceased brother of said testate.

A bond of Sally Woolsey, Seneca White and Cornelius Jordan of Amenia for $400, Jno. P. Tallman, witness. A petition from Sally Woolsey, Said John Woolsey, dec'd, has left Sally Woolsey, your petitioner, his widow, and Janenette Woolsley of Amenia and Emily Woolsey, wife of Joseph S. Benjamin of Dover, Dutchess County, children of the intestate, being all [the] heirs of dec'd – Inventory was valued at $200. 20 Apr 1840. No will or testament was found.

8 & 6 Oct 1849 Letters of Administration to Reubin Nelson, administrator, and Mary Woolsey, administratrix, 8 and 6 Oct 1849. Appraisers were Samuel Brown and Eliazer Sweet. Mary Woolsey, widow and petitioner and Reubin W. Nelson, brother-in-law, of William H. Woolsey, dec'd, and children of William H. Woolsey were Jane F. Woolsey, Mary Woolsey, Silas Woolsey and Agnes A. Woolsey, minors, of Poughkeepsie. Estate valued at $400. Family Bible.

15 Aug 1835 Mary Woolsey of Amenia, her executor was John J. Mott on 15 Aug 1835. Her Inventory was taken by Seneca White and Jabez Briggs on 11 Jul 1835, included “1 large Bible”.
Court to: Dorcas Woolsey, Catharine Woolsey, John Woolsey, Isaac Woolsey, Jacob Palmer, Grenville Woolsey, and Mira Woolsey, her (Mary's) heirs, etc.
and Charles Adams Guardian ad libens for Villetta Woolsey, Riley Woolsey and Richard Woolsey, minor heirs of Mary Woolsey.
Her last will and testament was found in her possession after her death. Benjamin B. Northrup swore he saw “her affix her working of last will and testament” on 30 Mar 1824. Mary Woolsey died 24 Mar 1835 in Amenia. [Her will was found in Dutchess County WILLS [913664 – J:132 – 1838.]
Said testatrix has left: Sampson Woolsey of Providence, Saratoga Co, NY, Dorcas Morey, Catharine Woolsey and John Woolsey of Amenia, Joseph Woolsey of state of Ohio and Isaac Woolsey of Amenia her children –
and Joseph Palmer, residence unknown, Jacob Palmer of Dover, Laura, wife of Larry Wilcox of Penfield, Monroe County and Milton Palmer of Michigan, her grandchildren, children of Mary Palmer, a deceased daughter of testatrix
and Grenville Woolsey of Washington, Mira Woolsey of Washington and Elizabeth, wife of _____ _____ [LEFT BLANK] of Penfield, and Viletta Woolsey, Riley Woolsey and Richard Woolsey of Penfield, also her grandchildren, being children of Richard Woolsey, a deceased son of the testatrix.
