In Suffolk Co, Esqr are bound unto Richard Willett & Wm Smith of the City of New York, Merchants, Exor's of Thomas Burroughs late of the City of New York secured in the sum of 1000 pounds - Benjamin Wolsey a list of the debts of the said Thomas Burrough, dec'd shall fall to Mary Burroughs daughter of said Thomas Burroughs [to get possession of his estate with debts, etc] Benjamin Wolsey to pay what is left of estate to Joel Burroughs brother of the said Mary Burroughs except for her education according to last will & testament of said Thomas Burroughs & personal property of the said Mary Urquart dec'd and of the said Mary Burroughs Pro: 25 May 1714. 2 Sep 1771.        Charles De Freidenborg for divers good causes do appoint my friends John and Robert Woolsey of Quebeck, Merchants, my true and lawful attorneys to receive all such sums owing to me by James Glenny late of Saranak etc & to take into all tools, etc belonging to me on my lands at Sasenak on river Champlain formerly in possession of said Glenny etc and authorize said John & Robert Woolsey to enter and take possession of all my land etc at river Saranak, bounds marked as mentioned in his Majestys Mandamus granted to me on 11 Jan 1769 for a tract of 30,000 acres on west side of Lake Champlain and authority to said John & Robert Woolsey to cut down and make use of so many oak and other trees as may amount to the sum of 82 pounds one shilling and 8 pence trees to be accounted to me by them at the rate of four shillings New York. 19 Sep 1771 Wit: John Moore, Philip Prossor. - Charles De Freidenberg.

Of estate of Pearsall Brush, dec'd, Waite Pearsall, of town of Munro in Orange Co, NY farmer & Hannah his wife, William Powell of city aforesaid, Cartman and Abigail his wife and Elizabeth Van Cot of same city widow whereas by a certain indenture of lease 27 Jul 1819 between Stephen Van Cortlandt of Newark in Essex Co, NJ & Jane his wife & the said Pearsal Brush f NYC cartman parcel of ground (part of the estate heretofore of James Delancey dec'd situate on the S side of Hester Street by Stephen Ludlams Map as Lot # 1421 etc 1 May 1819 yearly rent of $62.50 payable quarterly & Pearsall Brush did improve the lot by erecting buildings thereon at his own expense lately died intestate in NYC leaving the above named Jonas Brush Hannah Pearsall, Abigail Powell, Elizabeth Van Cott,and Catharine the wife of said Jeremiah Woolsey his only children etc therefore the said Jonas Brush in his own right & as administrator aforesaid etc for value received from said Jeremiah Woolsey all the said demised premises etc subject to the rents etc & also to a certain mortgage for $500 by Pearsall Brush in his life time to the Merchants Fire Insurance Co. in NYC which are to be paid by said Jeremiah Woolsey at his own expense. Addendom: We the subscribers do no consider ourselves heirs to or entitled to receive any part of the estate of Pearsall Brush late of NYC and if the law considers us so we assign unto Jeremiah Woolsey of NYC in consideration of his having during the life of the said Pearsall Brush improved the said leasehold property at his own expense this 3 Mar 1832.
