Jonathan Sell was in Wrightsboro, GA with his family. I am trying to prove our Ruben Sell is his grandson. Possibly through Thomas or Jonathan Jr. Is anyone working on this Sell line there in GA. Thanks.

I have been searching for 20 plus years for info on who the wive/wives of Edmond Hayes were. He was from Ga., and some of his children are noted to be from Wrightsboro and Wilkes Co., Ga. He was born in 1756 and his first wife was Martha ? b. 1760 per info I have obtained. There were two Edmond Hayes' in Ga. at the same time. The OTHER one was from Randolph Co. which has no connection. The two have been confused and I am not sure of my info. He supposedly had two wives with 11 children by each ( if the two Edmund/Edmonds are not confused) He and his wife were Quakers, at least his wife was. He is buried in Quaker City, Oh. He married Martha in Oct 1781 which I have not documented. Can anyone help me or verify my info and add to it? I'd sure appreciate it.

There is a Henry Ashfield who purchased 350 acres of land in Wrightsborough in 1769. Does anyone know of any records that would show that he was a Quaker or where he came from?
