by Dalton.

Except for a slight flicker of his eyelids yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Samuel S. Dalton, 53 years old, 1601 Argonne place northwest, had been sleeping uninterrupted for 84 hours at midnight last night.
Efforts of physicians to diagnose his case with any degree of certainty have failed. Members of the family have made several unsuccessful attempts to awaken him. Dr. J. C. Wynkoop, who is attending Mr. Dalton, said he is sure he is not suffering from sleeping sickness or paralysis.
Dr. Wynkoop said he believed Mr. Dalton's mysterious condition may have been caused by a tumor or abscess of the brain. His condition is extremely critical, Dr. Wynkoop said.
He was stricken with a mysterious illness Saturday morning, when he lay down on his bed and went to sleep.
