The practice of officers in command of Posts and Camps leaving their commands and of giving permission to their subordinates to leave their Posts and Camps without the knowledge or consent of the District Commander is reprehensible in the highest degree, and will no longer be tolerated. Any officer so offending hereafter, will be subject to recommendation for summary dismissal from the service.
