THEATRICAL.--This evening will be presented at the Platte Valley Theatre, for the first time in Denver, Buckstone's celebrated Drama, entitled THE WRECK ASHORE, a piece abounding in romantic incidents, love and murder. The cast for this great play will embrace the strength of the company along with three more gentlemen and one young lady actor, who will make their first appearance to-night. The after piece is the laughable farce of the Wandering Minstrel--with songs by Messrs. Gooding and Pardey, and a dance by the universal favorite, M'lle Haydee. The bill to-night is a grand one, and we predict a grand turn out. The best of order and system is secured by an efficient police, so that Mr. Best Society, with his wife and daughter, may rest assured of enjoying a pleasant time and a polite entertainment. Last night the house was crowded, and the performances were excellent. Pardy was perfect--Gooding always good--Haydee and Marietta first rate--and all the company combined, acquitted themselves ably and entertained their audience throughout. Company A, numbering ninety six men, headed by their popular Captain Wynkoop, and Company E, under Captain Anthony, were present, also squads of other companies. They demeaned themselves as gentlemen and soldiers.
