WYNEKOOP FAMILY
PROMINENT HERE
IN MEDICAL FIELD

    Dr. Frank Wynekoop, father-in-law of the slain young woman in the Wynekoop murder mystery, was the first of the family to establish himself professionally in Chicago. Dr. Wynekoop, who died on Jan. 1, 1929, came here from the family home in Indianapolis in 1892 to enter the University of Illinois medical college. Later his three brothers and two sisters came to Chicago. The various members of the family are:
    DR. CHARLES I. WYNEKOOP, brother of the late Dr. Frank Wynekoop.
    DR. GILBERT WYNEKOOP, brother of the late Dr. Frank Wynekoop. The third brother, Attorney Harvey E. Wynekoop, died two year ago.
    DR. ALICE LINDSAY WYNEKOOP, widow of Dr. Frank Wynekoop and mother-in-law of Rheta Gardner Wynekoop. For years she has been known professionally as Dr. Lindsay Wynekoop, using her maiden name of Lindsay in preference to Alice, her given name.
    EARLE WYNEKOOP, husband of the slain woman. He is a graduate of St. Albans academy, Sycamore, and of the Lewis Institute, Chicago. A photogapher and amateur aviator.
    WALKER WYNEKOOP, brother of Earle, head of Walker Wynekoop, Inc., manufacturers of labels.
    DR. KATHERINE WYNEKOOP, sister of Earle.
    MRS. OTTO BOSYE, Kansas City, sister of Dr. Frank Wynekoop.
    MRS. LAURA E. FELZ, sister of Dr. Frank Wynekoop, matron at Ravenswood hospital.
    ARTHUR H. FELZ, Western Electric company, son of Mrs. Laura Felz.
    IRA FELZ, Wayside, Neb., farmer, son of Mrs. Laura Felz.
    MRS. FLORENCE WICKS, another sister of Dr. Frank Wynekoop.
    MISS HELEN WICKS, teacher of journalism at the Kankakee High school, daughter of Mrs. Florence Wicks.
    DR. MARK WICKS, interne at Augustana hospital, son of Mrs. Florence Wicks.
    DR. WALDO B. WYNEKOOP, Boston, son the late Harvey Wynekoop.
