CHARLES HARRISON'S CARD.
______

We publish most cheerfully, a letter from Mr. Harrison, in reply to our comments upon his case in yesterday's paper. If in any way the public can be convinced that Mr. Harrison acted only in self-defense, we of all others, would be most pleased to announce such a gratifying state of public sentiment. It would enable us to discharge an obligation we owe Mr. Harrison for a service rendered us on a former occasion, in a more acceptable way than by any other method. But we owe a duty to the public, as well, and it was in the discharge of this duty that we made our comments of yesterday. No injustice was intended towards Mr. Harrison, and we are gratified with the assurance that he did not so regard it.
