Suddenly, on the 14th instant, at his residence, Valenira, Schuylkill county, Col. FRANCIS MURRAY WYNKOOP.
    His funeral will take place on Wednesday, P. M., December 16th, from the residence of his brother-in-law, Thomas I. Atwood, Pottsville, Pa. His friends and survivors of his command in Mexico are respecfully invited to attend.
