CHICAGO, Dec. 1. (AP)--Bereft of his air of jocular self-assurance, Earle Wynekoop, accused with his mother, Dr. Alice Wynkoop, in the death of his wife Rheta, today was haled into two courts and in each saw his lawyer lose the battle in his behalf.
In the Felony Court of Judge Schiller, Prosecutor Dougherty obtained a continuance until the 12th inst. for arraignment on the warrant charging Earle with being an accessory before the fact of the murder.
In the criminal courtroom of Judge David a hearing on a petition for a writ of habeas corpus was continued until the 11th inst.
