THE INDIAN QUESTION.

At the recent meeting of the Geographical Society, in New York, Peter Cooper made a brief address, advocating all the privileges of citizenship as the true cure for the Indian evil, which was applauded by the audience. Gen. Cullum, Indian agent to the Rocky Mountains, made some remarks recommending a division of the Indian country into three districts, to be presided over by nine commissioners, the formation of a code of laws for the Indians, and that they be allowed representation in the Legislature.
