A Chicago Rose Abroad.

A CHICAGO ROSE ABROAD.--The Chicago delegation at Pikes Peak is a large one, and from time to time makes itself felt, and notable. A daguerreotype artist named Wakely, who formerly kept a saloon on South Clark street, went thither with his family. One of his daughters, Rose Wakely, was known by the classic and professional name of "Mlle. Haydee," and will be remembered by many of the old habitues of North's Theatre. Her recent escapade is the following:

Mr. Thomas Evans recently eloped from Denver with an actress who is known in theatrical parlance as "Mlle. Haydee," but whose ordinary designation is Rose Wakely. The runaways were pursued by Sheriff Wynoop, [sic] were overtaken on the road to the States, and compelled to return. The parents of the girl, who were in the mountains at the time of the occurrence, are now in Denver, and it was expected that they would make complaint against Evans, and that he would be tried for abduction.
