    Lawyer Belva A. Lockwood has been advised by telegraph that she had won a suit before the courts of Boston, which has been most bitterly contested for some time past, and has caused her much trouble.
    Maj. Hitchcock, messenger of the House Judiciary Committee, is confined to his room by severe injuries; while crossing the Avenue he was run over by a heavy express wagon and very badly injured about the legs.
