Express left with $10,000 in freight--the thermometer stood 32� above zero, at 7 a.m.--the very fine ball at the Criterion came off--the brewery of Salomon & Tascher produced its first keg of lager--The first number of the Western Mountaineer was issued in Golden City--the new local play of Skatara, or the Mountain Chief, was produced at the Apollo, under the auspices of Manageress Mad'lle Haydee--the "Third House" of the General Assembly met over the Eldorado--the ox band paraded to and from Cibola Hall, and Capt. Jim Beckworth returned from the States----
