Notes:

Major John E. Wynkoop's advertisement ran in the The Miners' Journal and Pottsville General Advertiser until May 17th, 1862, when it was withdrawn, following the death of his first wife, Harriet Halberstadt, on May 15th, 1862. She and their children had been living with her parents while John was away at war.
