A Winter Camp-Fire.

The second "winter camp-fire" of the Washington canoe club was held last night at the residence of Vice Commodore H. H. Dodge, 3024 Q street. The principal feature was an interesting description of canoeing on the Ganges river by Commodore Theodore S. Wynkoop, who was a missionary in India for a considerable time. Cruising and camping, racing and cooking, were subjects of discussion, and new models of canoes and new methods of construction were subjects of much comment.
