A return from Colonel Jacobus Swartout for Officers for a Company of Militia in Rombout Precinct, was read and filed. Ordered, That Commissions issue for all those gentlemen, agreeably to their respective Ranks returned.

Richard Wynkoop, in the 1904 edition of the Wynkoop Genealogy in the United States of America, has this to say about Evert Wynkoop Swart on page 29:
34. Anne Wynkoop, (Evert 4, Cornelius 1,) baptized April 26, 1702: married, October 30, 1724, at Kingston, Johannes Swart, each described as born in "Kingstown." She is mentioned in the will of Evert [4], in 1746, as his daughter Antje. [Zwart = black.] 87 Tombstone in the yard of the First Dutch Church, Fishkill. All my best, Chris
