Dr. Wynekoop Asks
Jury Be Forgiven
_____

Chicago, March 9 (AP).--Dr. Alice Wynekoop, in the first statement since her conviction Tuesday and sentence of 25 years for the slaying of her daughter-in-law, Rheta, today declared she was innocent, and exclaimed "May God forgive them"--the jurors--"for the greatest error."
The aged physician penciled her statement from her cot in the jail infirmary and made it public through the attorneys.
