Announcement was made yesterday that the first competition for the Paris scholarship prize in architecture, offered by the Society of Beaux Arts Architects, will be held on Saturday. The second competition will be held on April 3, and the final on May 15. Some of the previous winners of the Paris prize scholarships are as follows: Season of 1904, George A. Licht, student of J. H. Freelander; season of 1905, John Wynkoop, student of Donn Barber; season of 1906, F. C. Hirons, student of Donn Barber; season of 1907, E. Sydney Wagner, student of H. Hornbostel; season of 1908, William Van Alen, student of Donn Barber.
