LOCAL AFFAIRS

Point to rightThe Mexican Volunteers.--We learn that the Mexican Volunteers, still living here, intend having a parade on the 18th of April next, for the purpose of celebrating the fourteenth anniversary of the Battle of Cerro Gordo, and of forming themselves into an Association, to be called "Wynkoop Legion," in honor of the late Colonel F. M. Wynkoop,. It is expected that from thirty-five to forty men will be in ranks, composed mainly, of Company B, 1st Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, which left this Borough for the seat of war, under command of Capt. James Nagle. The Scott Legion, of Philadelphia, upon invitation, will be present, and participate in the parade.
