SAN DIEGO DOES BIT.

Raises More Than Three Thousand
Dollars for Chinese Relief.

    Pasadena and San Diego have completely organized local China famine fund committees, according to the announcement made yesterday by A. C. Way, chairman of the Southern California committee.
    In San Diego, Rev. Charles Murphy, rector of All Saints' Episcopal Church, has been elected chairman; M. C. Pfofforkorn, First National Bank of San Diego, secretary, and G. A. Davidson, President of the Southern Trust and Commerce Bank, treasurer. An executive committee of five has been appointed. According to advices received at the Los Angeles headquarters, San Diego had collected, up to March 16, more than $3000.
    Arthur H. Gage of the State Bank of Pasadena, chairman of the Pasadena committee, reports the following committee personnel: W. A. B(?)es, Union National Bank; J. W. Jones, National Bank and Trust Company; G. H. Wynkoop, First National Bank; M. P. Green, Central National Bank; L. R. Rawson, Security National Bank; H. W. Lindsey, Citizens' Savings Bank, and A. H. Gage, State Bank of Pasadena.
