Important Arrest.
Important Arrest.

Point to rightIMPORTANT ARREST.--On Wednesday A. M. at Philadelphia, the steamer M. Sandford, was stopped, while leaving that city for New York, by U. S. Marshall Wynkoop, who proceeded on board and arrested five men, charged with enlisting recruits for a foreign service, with which the United States is now at peace.
Among the recruits retained as witnesses, was one Wiliiam Augustine Teas, hailing from Pottsville. His friends hereabouts will recognize him more readily as Dick Sanda. Pottsville men are ubiquitous.
