Dr. Wynekoop
Ends Testimony
in Own Defense
__________
CHICAGO. March, 3. (AP)--Dr Alice Lindsay Wynekoop today completed her appearance as a witness in her own behalf and the celebrated Wynekoop murder trial was adjourned until Monday. She had been on the stand one hour and forty minutes during the morning session.
The 63-year-old defendant's second day in the box was marked by a collapse, which delayed cross-examination almost half an hour.
Dr. Wynekoop became hysterical as she was taken back through a passageway to the County Jail. Clutching the arm of her daughter Dr. Catherine, she screamed convulsively, then dropped her head back against the rest of her wheel chair. The jail physician administered medicine to her and she became quiet.
