Dr. Wynekoop,
Convicted, Lies
in Half Stupor
__________

CHICAGO, March 7. (AP)--Shocked by the verdict which branded her a murderess and consigned her to twenty-five years in prison, Dr. Alice Lindsay Wynekoop today lay in a half stupor on her county jail cot and begged to be left alone.
The enigmatic physician, however, found strength to maintain her innocence of the death of her daughter-in-law, Rheta, and to assert that the jury which yesterday convicted her had made a grievous error.
