The Scott Legion, Capt. Gray, of Philadelphia, will celebrate on Thursday next the anniversary of the battle of Cerro Gordo. [ ] excursion to this Borough [ ] inducement for the [ ] occasion, is the [ ] Wynkoop Legion of [ ] interest attaches to the [ ] the fact that it was the first [ ] of the returned Mexican Volunteers, [ ] a single company, effected. Member after member has dropped from the ranks into the grave; but the Legion is still strong; and it is anticipated that it will bring at least thirty-two muskets on the occasion of its approaching visit. A fine band will accompany the corps.
