LOCAL AFFAIRS

    Point to rightSpring Battalions for Inspection and Review.--The Brigade Inspector, Major James Nagle, gives notice that the Volunteers of the First Brigade, Sixth Division, will meet next month as follows:--First Regiment, on the 21st of May, at Pottsville.--Companies, First Troop Schuylkill County Cavalry, Washington Artillery, Scott Artillery, Scott Rifles, Washington Yeagers, and National Light Infantry. The Washington Light Infantry of Pinegrove, will parade with the First. Second Regiment, on the 22d, at Tamaqua.--Companies, Tamaqua Cavalry, Tamaqua Artillery, Port Clinton Artillery, Scott Rifles, German Light Infantry, and Jackson Guards. Third Regiment, on the 23d, at Port Carbon.--Companies, Wynkoop Artillery, Marion Rifles, Keystone Rifles, Lafayette Rifles, and Wetherill Rifles. Minersville Battalion, on the 24th at Minersville.--Companies, Minersville Artillery, Llewellyn Rifles, Columbian Infantry, and Ringgold Rifles. Ashland Battalion, on the 25th, at Ashland.--Companies, Ashland Dragoons and Patterson Guards. Fourth Regiment, on the 26th, in Upper Mahantango Township.--Companies, Washington Troop, Germanville Artillery, Jackson Blues, Donaldson Rifles, and Mahantango Infantry. The lines will be formed at 10 o'clock, A. M., each day. Artillery Companies will have their field pieces on the ground for inspection, and be prepared to fire a salute on the arrival of the reviewing officer.
