The New Minister. The Western Presbyterian Church in a successful and enthusiastic meeting cleared off the church debt of $800, in response to an appeal of the trustees. The next business was the nomination of a minister to succeed Rev. Dr. Wills. Rev. Theodore Winecoop was elected by acclamation, having recently satisfactorily filled the pulpit. Mr. Winecoop is a native of Trenton, N. J.; was educated at Princeton college, and has preached in India. He is a single man, and is added to the list of Washington clergy with a most excellent reputation in every respect.
