Dr. Wynekoop to File
Plea in Highest Court
_______
Chicago, April 5 (AP).--Dr. Alice Wynekoop, 65-year-old Chicago physician serving a 25-year prison sentence for murder of her daughter-in-law, Rheta, will appeal her conviction to the United States Supreme Court on a claim that she was deprived of her liberty "without due process of law," attorneys announced today.
The appeal, which Attorneys W. W. Smith and Edward M. Keating said would be placed before the Supreme Court in Washington within two weeks, will allege that authorities extorted a statement from the aged defendant in violation of the fourteenth amendement [sic] to the national Constitution.
